Loyalty To God by Christina Farris 5/1/2016 Who are you loyal to in this world. Is it family, friends or what about God? God is consistent and he never fails. Yet Loyalty to God is important essential to faith in God. Do not commit adultery or idolatry to God. God desires his name to be glorified. Father, Son and Holy Ghost are just a few names He goes by. Yet each part of the Trinity is part of the Godhead, to worship one is to worship all three parts. God's word/Jesus is only part of God and so His Spirit, but put it in any of the Godhead from Father, Son and Holy Spirit and you have one God. It makes little sense to the human mind to complex of these three parts. Each part is only alone when man uses them. Man uses God's word for profit and gain while others think they can use God's Spirit and only find they can not. God is not a God to be used for your glory but for His alone. Who are you loyal too today. If you use God, He will cut you down, if you obey God, his blessings will abound. |

May's Themes by Christina Farris 4/01/2016 May is a month of many themes, no set goaled in mind for this month. Yet it is the month of celebration of Pentecost. A day which the Holy Spirit came and filled the twelve apostles. A day of rememberance of how God glorified his name and the events of the cross, not just in one tongue but many. And all that heard, heard it in their own language for the first time. Learning to walk by the Spirit of God is necessary thing for all believers. To speak as God directs to see lives changed by the name of Jesus. This month is also national prayer month a time for America to pray for their nation. Let us not forget Mother's Day, a special observance of the importants of Motherhood. God blesses us with mother that cares whether it be someone with those attributes of a loving mom, or our actual mom. Mother inlaws are not exempt, after all they raised your spouse. Mother's give at the least of all life to a baby, but give so much more if they raise their children right with love. |
