Taking time to sign a song in church only brings back the fact unless you know what sign language is, the hand motion lose it meaning. If I understand the gestures then I understand what being said. Yet if I only understand that someone is signing but not all the gestures being given, I lost interpretation of what is being said. A foreign language loose meaning, if the words are unclear. How can one expect a church to grow if no one understands the language.

Watching TV the other night close caption came on to interpret the language being spoken and it was moving so fast I could not read it all. The storyline misunderstood partially by the reading of the lines on the screen. How quick it is to misunderstand language in the world, think about it what if no one understands you how long do you think it take to empty a church. People only will come see a side show for so long. One can not build a church without building it with love.

To build the body of Christ it can not be built with hate but must be built with love. One has to define what is love. Is correction love? Is telling people what God does not like love? All can be done in love but no one wants correction everyday. There is a point there are several things that destroy a church. Sideshows with no meaning that glorify not God and the other is speaking in tongues with no interpretation other then the speaker. If one is going to speak in tongues like sign language there really needs to be interpreter. Usually the interpretation would come from the song everyone is singing or the message given by the pulpit the sign language is expressing in sign. Yet only someone that knows both sign and can hear will know if what being said by speaker and hands are correct. So it is with many language in the world, without knowledge anything else sounds like gibberish. Unless there is interpreter.

If one going to build a church about bubble gum, on going to bring a pack of gum and chew it and even share a piece or too. If one is going to build there church on the Lord Jesus Christ, then it must start with the introduction of who Jesus is. It must start about his ministry and testimonies about Him. When I began this site I began it on the foundation of Jesus. Writing first study on the book of John. Some people try and build church on the power of the Holy Spirit but fail to teach teach Jesus. To begin on the Holy Spirit one would need to start with Genesis 1:1 because that where God‘s Spirit begins before the earth was formed. To understand who the Holy Spirit is before the laying on of hands is important. It is a baptism of knowledge of who God‘s Spirit is just like knowing who Jesus is. One might believe in Jesus by just hearing the name, but usually it going to take more then name, and more then just knowing God‘s Spirit exist to understand the power of God and He works in a believers life.

God can use tongues to teach about his power, but lack of interpretation will loose the meaning of God‘s power being demonstrated. God power will only change a life that receives the knowledge of God‘s power as truth. Some need signs of proof of God‘s power and others only need to hear. Yet without evidence of God‘s power and only knowledge and evidence of science the world looks on and says if there is a God or something like that. The believer knows the power of God by the heart change in their own life upon receiving Jesus as Savior, and the power of walking by His Spirit but events foretold to strength faith. Prophesy in scripture is only past prophesy, until the reality of what spoken comes alive. It came alive in Jesus’ day. The Priesthood watching all that was taken place around Jesus’ life and ministry. The healings being only a part of the prophesy, but the teaching as well.

Healing is another type of body building of a church. Where people are being healed or delivered is going to build a church. A church will grow like wildfire, unless the word of mouth is short lived. Jesus ministry grew not just because of his works and teachings but the word of mouth. The gospel of Jesus is still built by spreading of miracles, wonders and good teaching. It takes faith to see miracles, but takes less effort to wow a crowd with good teaching. If you want to body build a church do so the way Jesus did, you get a lot further down the road of faith. People need to rely God through faith in Christ Jesus. The church being built on the word of God and his salvation plan for mankind. Body building is building the local church body despite denomination.

Dear Heavenly Father build your church on your word and not on the side show of life. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
