Simple spiritual truth is the blessing of God is for all believers, despite their social ranking. The blessings of God have no social ranking. They come to the poverty, the rich and the middle class. They come not by the means of gold or money. Blessings of God come not by old time religious law, but by spiritual law of faith. They come with trusting in God and humbling oneself before God. They come when one heart is purified by faith in Christ Jesus. The blessings come to even the persecuted, because your reward is not on earth but in heaven. Are there blessings when you help someone of course. The deed of helping someone is only outward show of faith that God is going to bless the labor of your hands because you did something for someone else. No God bless you because you are his child.

God blessings by His Spirit, his provision by His will for your life. Blessings of comfort are guarantee to the believer, the blessings of hope is to the believer. The blessings come because of our truthfulness with God. What is it to have God’s comfort but to have His Spirit going with us in all situations? No man or woman would face persecution singing without the power of the Lord, unless they were insane. No one face hungry with a willingness to pray without the power of the Lord. The longer I live the longer I know that in order to live a godly life sometimes it is only by God’s Spirit that one can. Situations no matter how mild or hard can leave a person full of rage and anger to the point if it was not God comforting hand one’s anger might explode. In the heat of battle one never quiet is calm and devil of course knows it because he knows where and how to push one’s buttons. I think of why did Jesus not reply during his trial, perhaps because he carried a sword in his mouth that could slay millions.

God wants to bless us but even in the storm we have to be willing to listen to His Spirit. God provision in the wilderness in the time of hunger was not necessarily fine dining, but it filled the belly. The other day I made the worse biscuits I have ever made. My husband did not complain he ate the biscuits. Not sure why either, but he did. Now what made those biscuits bad is they were from scratch and I used all-purpose instead of biscuit flour. Now with all-purpose flour one has to use baking power or they will not rise. Oh the biscuit rose but they were bitter tasting, compared to my normal biscuits. There is a point my hubby could have complained about them biscuits but he drowned it with gravy and ate them anyway. The gravy did not mask those biscuit. God’s blessing was my husband did not complain despite the taste. God’s blessings sometimes come on earth with a little bitterness. They blessings of God are for every believer but events of life may scar leaving a bitter taste in one’s mouth.

God’s blessings come to the children of righteousness. Righteousness comes not by works but of faith in God. Works of the devil may imitate the things of God but it never God. Devil imitating God to deceive God’s children. Children who repent at God’s word did so by God’s conviction and not the devil, yet often continue working for the devil not understanding the difference. One has to be taught right and wrong to know the devil’s ways Children are innocent until they understand the difference. Yet God can put his children in a devils camp to destroy it. He can put children in place to wake them up so they understand God’s blessings are not wealth and outward prosperity, but inward hope, faith and humbleness of spirit. Without the humbleness, meekness and sincerity of that heart of man, one cannot and will not receive eternal blessing of hope through Christ Jesus. God loves all his children. He loves you. Will you trust him today to receive the spiritual blessings only he can bring.

Dear Heavenly Father may you bless your children as they humble themselves before you. Thank you for blessing me by calling me your child through faith in Christ Jesus. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
