 Month Of August 2021: The Wall Around Us by Christina Farris 8/06/2021 What are we putting around us. Is our shield of faith enough to keep us out of harms way all our life. Or do we need to establish a wall of security to keep the devil from causing harm. His the Holy Spirit shield in place. Or is the blood of Jesus the covering that we lean upon even through our mistakes. Living daily is a life chore and not a one time step of faith. |

August's Prayer List by Christina Farris 8/06/2021Praying for our children as they return to school. That God's grace will surround them and God's protection through Christ Jesus will surround them, and that the Holy Spirit will minister to them in their hour of need. It is a scary for parents and children these days for children to be in school, but it is no more dangerous then playing in a city street it seems. Can we hold a little longer before they leave the house, can we hug each other a little tighter as they future is unclear of what will happen? Let us pray our children will be like sponges and assorb the things necessary for education and less of the worldly evil that plagues the school system with daily stories from other play mates, gossip on the school grounds, the bully in the seat next to them, and most of all teachers that fail to teach. Pray for our teachers that they be good solid educators, to enable our children with better opportunity of insight to learning. |
