| Praying in December by Christina Farris 12/01/2023Praying for orphans, foster care kids, kids on the street, children of the world that are suffering this season of love and giving. Many children will look and wonder where there tree and presents are. Where their feast is for Christmas dinner. Parents are looking to churches, the community to help with a need. They are looking with tears at there children hoping they will one day understand. I dont have to know a poverty child to know they exist, I only have find a way to help either someone that does or someone that can pass a gift along. Charities are no longer asking for second hand because of Cov, but if you know someone it is okay to give it. Pray for elderly that a new shirt or a candy treat with a piece of fruit would make their day. A visit to a nursing home or help elderly reach a shelf in the store. Dont just pray be mission aware and be mission active this season. |
