Luke 1:59-66 KJV
59 And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his father.
60 And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.
61 And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.
62 And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.
63 And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.
64 And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.
65 And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea.
66 And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.

Minister might til you there is a time not to speak, and yet your silence will not keep it hidden from man or God. Everything will be revealed. Yet it when God mutes you it for a reason.

Our enability to speak maybe God's saving grace at times in our life. If Zachariah would of come out of the sanctuary babbling all God said the priesthood and others would not believed him, yet his inability to speak allowed the evidence of the angel's revealed of God's words to be produced. The prophecy not spoken is one yet to be able to be received. The time of unbelief can occur until time of revealing. God not desiring to hide who John the Baptist is but to silence until evidence is forth coming from the womb of Elisabeth.

The time of naming came and Zacharias declared his name is John on a piece of paper. No one in his family had that name. His mouth was loosen and he was able to speak. I think of those conversations people have before a baby is born. One being what will the baby's name be? How easy to be convinced not to obey the Lord and give a name received by all. Yet he can not be convinced to change the name because he could not revealed it to everyone until the baby's birth. Time of joy and naming now revealed.

The conversations of backslidders, as minister preaches about sin from the pulpit how was my sin revealed from the pulpit. Some things are by pure oddity that other people do it too, sometimes it is being in the wrong place with knowledge or no knowledge of a sin or person, but the best reveal is by the Holy Spirit spoke it for conviction for the saving of the soul of the sinner. Some people feel no shame and others the knowledge of sin is an inner shame to themselves. People often seeing their sin reveal desire to know how that can be done, if it was by God alone, educated guess by cirumstances, technology or the gossip line was right this time. Well silence hold sin at bay no more then it can hide great news and joy.

When a ministers words no longer can shoot you from the pulpit then does the Holy Spirit no longer move in your life. If you are waiting for God to use the minister to convict you, it might be a long time because minister's speaking of sin waxes cold at times and love only preached. Yet if sin never preached we can not understand the wrath of God to come. Even atheist speak about sin in a comedy act but no conviction comes but laughter.

Let think for a moment what would you rather here about a joyous impossible birth or sin. I rather think on the joyful season of both the fore runner of Christ, John the Baptist and Jesus birth but there are times sin must be dealt with.

God well reveal all even in our silence in due time according to will and preparation of a people to receive the news. Day of accountability to the day of great joy we are saved not by our perfection but because promise through faith in Christ is revealed with the devil saying you did this and God saying the blood is applied so it no longer submissible in court is the day we fully understand and realize how great a salvation Christ is as his blood cover all our sin and no longer allowed to tear us apart. Let joy of our salvation fully revealed after salvation and many years have past that God saving grace and revelation power still lives in the world today.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for your saving grace, your ability to restore our ability to speak as your reveal your word. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
