2 Timothy 1:1-14 KJV
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,
2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
4 Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;
5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

How many people live in fear that they can not leave their house. Is the fear of death keeping anyone shut away, keeping one inmobile, lacking the feeling of security, thinking they are keeping safe only to experience a storm that destroys the house by earthquake, tornado, hurricane, typhoon, cyclone and much more. Let's not forget the unexplained sink hole. Let us not fear the destruction of man.

We can not live in fear as human's in general, or we might never get a raise, or see the view of the valley below after climbing the mountain. One never would dive in ocean and swim with sharks that are bigger then the vessel your attached too. Why is dealing with the fear of testifying about Jesus any different.

Political fear and religious fear can be the same but there is no cure for political fear. The fear of being bullied or dying for faith is ridiculous when we know the promise of our Savior Jesus and God is eternal life. Our hope set far ahead of us but the reality of eternity often seen closer then we imagine. Watching the world by computer is different then ministering in a church or being on the frontlines of the working world, yet one must still decide if you will be making a stand for Jesus behind closed doors how will you get beyond the closed doors to a place it needs to be. God uses you not you use him. None of tools have the Spirit of fear when the Holy Spirit is the one using you. You might sit back in fear at the reality surrounding you, but if you brought forth the message of truth from him and by his Spirit fear not. God is able to have a plan escape or a place prepared for you in heaven. Paul was imprisoned and he was even stoned for his faith. Jesus crucified and we know how that worked out. We know Stephen was stone but as he departed his hope of heaven was on his lips.

Are you in fear of sharing? Mary and Joseph escapes after sharing Jesus with the wisemen. Yet Jesus hid not from the cross, knowing his time was limited as a human being, butcwent and died for you and me. He would return incorruptibe and immortal after the resurrection.

God gives people a sound mind in which to testify with. God gives the ability for his glory. Are you willing to be used by God and allow fear to be destroyed as you walk with Jesus sharing his love.

Dear Heavenly Father strengthen your people for the journey ahead as thwy testify for you, for your glory and honor by your Spirit. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
