Matthew 1:1-25 KJV
1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
10 And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
11 And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
14 And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
15 And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

Forteen generations from Abraham to the time of David, forteen more generation until the exile of Babylon and forteen generations until they came back to Israel. The throne was not. The materialism and legal thought of nation restore did not happen til 1945 but the power of the temple today is under Islamic control. Israel is watched by all Bible believers. If Christ is our Savior why would Israel have any value in our faith? It probably has to do when Christ return there is a number of Jews already saved at this time period before his return. It important to note the prophecy surround Israel. God not dead he is alive, Christ is our mediator between God and man. God's word fulfilling his prophecy on command. Why is this important to today's lesson. Let's began.

What Joseph thinking wanting to put his espouse wife away being found with a child by the Holy Spirit. I do not doubt Mary shared what had happened to her. Yet Joseph even may of heard about Mary's cousin Elisabeth. Think long and hard on the issue Joseph had convinced himself he want nothing to do with what was happening but he loved Mary enough to want to protect her. He laydown and went to sleep and angel of the Lord visited him and spoke to him in his dream. Angel told him not to be afraid the Lord was with him. He was take Mary his espouse wife and she would have a baby Boy and he would be called Emanual meaning God with us. He would save us from our sins. Joseph took his wife raised from sleep and knew her not until she gave birth and named him Jesus. Mary was told by an angel to call him Jesus. Emmanual is more of a formal Hebrew name probably used in record keeping.

Now Joseph went through two clear phases of this event. One being this child is of the Holy Ghost I need to remove Mary from myself to full obedience of taking Mary to be bis wife not physically knowing her til she brought forth her son Jesus. Prophetic word of God coming forth in Joseph life. First in fear and confusion of responsibility to oh I just got to wait and be earthly father to this child of the Holy Spirit and a husband to Mary.

Life changing, yet do we grasp that part of the story as we look what occuring in our world. Yet the hour of Christ return and is the earth just going through contractions as it travail in bring forth God's word to light to the universal church of believers and the unbelievers who think by now we waited to long? Be patient fellow believers his word will come to pass as God's word came forth in the prophesy of the forerunner John the Baptist and Jesus. Hour unknow to Christ return but let us not be blind to God's word that is coming.

Dear Heavenly Father open the eyes to the birthing pains of the earth and the reason being your word of prophesy.
