Month Of November
by Christina Farris 11/01/2015

This month is a time to be thankful to God for all He does in our life. For all the blessings he given through out the year. This month is no different it time to praise the Lord. Let us rejoice and give thanks to our Heavenly Father who have blessed us through out the year.

All Saints Day
by Christina Farris 11/1/2015

Hebrews 11:32-40 KJV
(32) And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:
(33) Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
(34) Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
(35) Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
(36) And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
(37) They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
(38) (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
(39) And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
(40) God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

All Saints Day a day to remember those who gone before us in faith. Yet there are those who names are never known that are have beared witness to others no in a large way, but in small ways of love, mercy and longsuffering. The mother that suffers not knowing if her child will ever come home. The man that takes his son to the bus stop to send his son to war, not knowing if he will return, yet knowing he must sacrifice his son for the hope of others. That soldier of the Christian faith needs not to forget his armour is of the Lord. Yet what he will face in ministry is nothing like what others have gone before, this is far from the contrary. Next time you are mocked and spit upon remember those of faith have dealt with these things too. The hurt the pain of suffering is part of faith. It should not have to be, but unfortunately it is.

Let us celebrate the victory we have today knowing one day we will be with our Lord as all others who have died in faith. Let us rejoice knowing the suffering of faith is not in vain.

Annual Kick Off To Thanksgiving
by Christina Farris 11/18/2015

The annual kickoff to Thanksgiving was suppose to begin with November 1st, but this year I been doing things a little different. Perhaps because thanksgiving is more then once a year. If we can not be thankful all year through should we not be ashamed with Thanksgiving Day Comes? God wants our praise all the time and yet praise is not always where it should be on our lips.

I respect those people that seem to have that fluent ability to Praise God all the time.Yet I realize too that they have their moments too, and they have had to learn to have a praise on their lips. Our Lips cry Heavenly Father, but does it cry Thank you Lord? Can we praise Him in the storms in life as well as in sunshine. Can we praise him in the morning and when the sun is shining in the noon day. What about when the sun is going down and through the night.Let us all including myself work on Saying Thank you Lord for your blessing you have given me.
