Time Of Christ: Authority To Receive
11/14/2015

Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris

Mark 8:22-26 KJV
(22) And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.
(23) And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
(24) And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
(25) After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
(26) And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

If you ever listen to a child often you need the child to repeat a story more then once to understand exactly what he said to understand the full story. It is to get all the facts straight. When a person receives the word of God some things are received with open heart and other things are received but it takes repeating to receive full understanding of what scripture says. When we think of healing we think of instant healing when regards to miracles but this is not always so. Sometimes it takes more then one prayer before someone is healed.

The giving up before you receive the word in complete understanding is giving up without hope. A blind man received partial sight and one might ask why only partial. Scripture actually does not say, but upon the first part of healing the man could see men that looked like trees. He could see something that was not in reality. Then upon the second touch from Jesus, he could see the truth that there were people not trees around him.

The glimmer of home enables to receive the full measure of faith. If you see the promise land just in sight the hope of the promise land is retainable and receivable. Caleb went into the promise land came back and made a good report while others did not. The point is people were not ready to receive what God had in store for them so they received not tell more time had past in the wilderness. How long do you have to spend in the wilderness to receive the gift God already prepared for you.

Healing was retainable with the ability to receive it. Some never receive their healing, and some receive it in part but it like longing through fog that you can not see the full picture or exactly what it is. Once one receives the full measure of healing then it is seeable. Some people are healed with the use of medicine, is it full healing no but the promise of full healing will occur when they reach heaven if they believe in Christ. Some healing comes with a second dose of prayer. If you stand in a prayer line once do not hesitate to stand again, unless God speaks to your heart not too. If the Spirit is not just filling you but all that is around you, then you know it time to seek in prayer. This might be your day to receive your miracle, or to receive God’s intervention for the problem. If God does not do a full miracle the miracle to come is receivable when you can understand his grace on this earth.

Dear Heavenly Father you give us the authority to receive, but what you give is not always what we ask. Lord grant us our daily provision and not always the full measure of beyond our daily needs until we can receive it. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
