God's Word Having First Authority
11/09/2015

Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris

Genesis 1:1-8 KJV
(1) In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
(2) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
(3) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
(4) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
(5) And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
(6) And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
(7) And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
(8) And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

I was sitting and thinking on the power of words and in fact our words have little unless we give life to them through action. Our words come out of mouth or from our fingers on a keyboard or in sign language to express, to maim, to heal, and to speak who is boss, and servant. Our words have no power without action and yet our words alone have no power but what the hear gives it. It has no authority but what is given by choice and consequences by sound reasoning from action. If you train a dog to sit by command he know he will get a reward. If you take that same dog and teach him to heel by a choke chain I will guarantee he know when you say heel he better due it or his very life he knows might be cut off by a chain. Our words have no power without action, yet the power of the word might reflect a positive or negative based on conditioning by events. Our word by itself never had any power. I can yell at a dog to sit but without him understanding what he doing is positive he never do it again if he does it even the first time. God’s word is not like our word. The power of His word is not like ours. His word takes action without his hands doing anything.

God’s word is spoke and it becomes. God’s word becomes like a dragon mouth shooting flames. It becomes a force by itself and was a force by just the very thought. The prophet word becomes something by control of the meaning of the words. Yet no conditioning was necessary for the word to have power in materialistic form. God’s Word has Spirit that enables it to become something other then just a noise. God’s voice is said to sound like a mighty rushing wind, a trumpet and more. God’s voice is said to be silent at times, the very thoughts becoming. To have power over one thoughts to become is something humanity does not have the power to do. Yet man’s authority by human hand to create gives man’s word’s power. Yet God’s Word by His Spirit gives life.

God said let there be light and there was light. The very word Said being enough to make something occur by a force not understood by man. God’s condition of consequence to disobedience and obedience to his word only helps us understand His power and authority to control by the whip and sword of His words. Yet His words without conditioning still has authority and life by just being spoken. He say let there be, by His command and it is. Light not comprehended as light to man without knowledge of the meaning of the word, but God’s word has knowledge of what is and it happens. I can create a word but without knowing the definition of the word I have no clue of what is or what it could be. Light was the opposite of the darkness surrounding God. God said let there be light. Light being any other color but what we see around us would still be light, if by God’s word it became into existence. This darkness now contain light but it was not separate from each other. God divided it. Did He take His hand or whether it was done by his Word it is not clear. Yet we know He separated the light from darkness. Then he named the light something and gave it a title called Day. And He did the same with the darkness He called it Night. His authority to create is seen along with the power of His Word to stand alone with just the Spirit speaking it to be. The force of His words being like water running in stream moving branches down a creek, or whip that causes horses to move in one direction or another by knowledge of what the driving whirl of the whip is saying. The very roar of a tornado is enough to send a chill down the back of a person it is chasing, but the calming of spring breeze is enough to feel the peace of fresh air blowing across the brow that does not bend with the wind. Yet the hair on one’s head will not stay still. Light by itself is not Day without separation from the Dark.

God’s Word does not take form until fermentation in the water but it too is separated from each other yet touching each other in physical form. The Metaphysical being shown becoming tangible. Yet it is that very tangible existence of that word becoming that we see the power of God’s word for we can neither taste or feel light only comprehend light through sight. Even the blind are said to have some vision of light in their darken world but nothing beyond that.

God’s word became flesh and dwelled among us through His Son Jesus. Being created by the power of the Word of the Holy Spirit not conceived by natural means. But created by God and explained by ontology of the metaphysical process of creation. The flesh having no power of its own but what God gives it, but the authority coming from the Word and Spirit of God within that fleshly object, land, water or human. Be careful and do not bow to nature, because its power is limited. Christ power had no limits, for Christ laid his own life down and took it up again by the power and authority that was given to Jesus. I can not pick my own life up after being dead, but the power of God can raise me up. Yet Christ power raised himself up by the very Spirit of God that was His Spirit. His breath returning to His body after once being gone for over two days. Christ authority greater then man’s.

Christ power only limitation is what God authority will not allow by His Spirit and Not His Word. Yet the two are entwined together as one, both spiritually and physically in human form.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for the authority of your word both through your spirit and through the flesh has your dear Son. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
