Month Of December 2020: Christmas 2020
by Christina Farris 12/01/2020
Can we forget the past events of this year, the passing of time so unclear and yet life in truth is like this everyday, and yet only because of pandemic is the reality more clear. Hug each other a little tighter if no place but deep within the heart. Six foot distance making contact difficult for everyone. Yet in truth this Christmas celebration is not about family, our country, or even the world. It is the celebration of the birth of the Christ child, the Savior of the world. Our focus on the birth of our Savior and celebrating with family and neighbors at home and abroad by the Spirit. Our concentration on the celebration and not on the gifts under the tree or the things gotten, but on the best gift of all, Jesus Christ Our King. God's greatest gift to all mankind. So let us commence in our heart and mind. Let us celebrate the new born king, knowing we wait for his coming and the celebration of his return. Let us celebrate with grateful hearts because the promise and blessing of God has been born.
between 5:30am to 12:30pm Eastern Time.
Also there will be from time to time a note of a day off for me.
December's Prayer List
by Christina Farris 12/01/2020Pray for those still effected this Christmas Season by the pandemic, both sick and grieving. Remember those in need and going through financial hardship. Pray that the children will understand that are faced with the knowledge of their own parents struggle and financial hardship. Remember the elderly because of the cold season as well. Give as you are able too and help those you know in need. If you can not give say at least a prayer for God hears and knows the need. Let our nation rejoice in the news of the vaccine and new treatments come more available to the public, knowing God created those hands and minds to know how to create a cure to treat the pandemic.
