Why the names do not line up maybe the difference in language or proper name verses nickname(known by in the community). These two list represent the time line from Joseph to King David and Joseph to God original creation of man Adam. Total of fourteen generations. Now if you read through all the names bless you, many just skip it and that cool and that not cool. Meaning at some point take time and review the names and any you do not recognize check there story or see if they have a story in scripture, beyond the name given. The first Son of God was Adam. The second and only begotten Son of God was Jesus. Adam formed by the dust of the earth and Jesus born by the power of God and made in the likeness of God's Spirit. Born of a virgin, who was cleansed from sin through righteousness brought by faith. Her purity maintained by faith as God's power by the Holy Spirit word conceived a child in Mary's womb. Two differences in First Adam that became a living soul to the second Adam that became a quicken Spirit. What is the difference?

We see two creatures made into the image of God one by God's power and one from the creation of God called clay/dirt so forth. We see God place first man in his garden, only for man to sin and be tossed out of paradise He lived because he was created as a living soul that became a soul by breath of God and a soul destine to perish through the choice of free will. The second man was given a quickening Spirit, one created by the power of God to be everlasting soul. Giving man through the second Adam the ability to have eternal soul to live with God for eternity. That through belief in his Son we would have eternal life. Faith not cheap form of grace, but faith made righteous through faith, not without repentance, not without the recognition of God authority and power in one's life.

Joseph was only Jesus Foster Dad, Mary was Jesus true mother, and daughter of the Levitical/religious line. We look for the King from the offspring of Joseph to King David only to fail to see who the real king was, and that was God, the father of Adam. Luke makes the declaration of God being Father. Joseph though being a foster dad was also of the foster line of King David, meaning Jesus foster male line was of the kings of the earth. Royal and purest line of rulers, though unperfect an only righteous by faith. God placed Jesus in the family tree of man as far as foster parent, he placed him in the line that represent the authority of godly rule, though none was perfect only righteous by faith. He placed Him the earthly levitical line through his mother. To human powers that God's authority is suppose to reign over and does.

The uniqueness of the kingly and Levitical line was the desire to follow God, despite human fralities. The uniqueness of the line of God showing them human inperfection and most desire for change, not necessarily all. A human core of leaders desiring faith, that should of had weight and power with the people, but with the fact God harden the hearts of the Jewish people the knowledge and righteousness of faith did not cause people to like Jesus only to push Jesus away. Legalism of the law effecting the religious leaders tot he point they could not see the blessing of Christ ministry on earth. With that unability to see they to shouted crucify. Jesus paid the price of our sin, to descend into the pit of separation from God to only rise again by the power of God by his quickening, everlasting Spirit that will live and reign in eternity as the only Son of God, The King of Kings, The Word of God, and the Highest Priest in God's kingdom.

According to John 3, we have the ability to be born again, not by your spirit but the Spirit of God, who seals all that believe with his Spirit as a child of God. He gave us the ability to have an everlasting Spirit following after His Son from death to life for eternity. Devil soul is eternal soul that is destroyed in the eternal lake of fire. When we understand our faith, our actions causes us to have a choice of our eternity, one for destruction and one unto everlasting life with God, we walk that road of following Jesus with a fine tooth comb. Knowing as we repent of our sin, he is just to forgive. That is if we believe we must walk by faith, not by sight. To have faith that our soul will spend eternity with God. To take God at his word, that Christ paid for all our sins. That we will be changed to a spirit of incorruptibility. That our mortality will put on immortality like Jesus. Death is destroy through faith in Christ Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to understand the fact we are born again by your spirit upon receiving you Son Jesus as Lord and Savior. That through Jesus we have eternal life through faith in HIm, because he paid for our sin of disobedience and gave us the seal of promise from the Holy Spirit that we are his children.
