Back To the drawing board of faith. After over 15 years of writing, I come to a place where I wonder will I write today, the answer is as long as I am able to do so, I guess I will. No complaints. Yet my prayer many morning is Lord keep me filled to be able to write for you. I not always perfect and sometimes what I write may be truth, but it might sound judgmental, but it hits me before it ever attacks or hits you. I guarantee because I have to reread it, it will either cleanse me, continue to purify me with the heat of the flame, or like the world ignore what I write. Part of what I desire to see this site do is catch fish. Not literal fish but a metaphor of people in need of Christ, help a minister a long the way, or just encourage someone to research for themselves God's word.
After fifteen years I believe my site probably does a little of each things I desire it to do. If nothng else encourage someone else to keep trying, to keep walking with Jesus. The turtle with the light, is walking in a darken world and the turtle needs the lamp to see his way through the murky water of the world, but also crawl through the caverns and caves. It also must go through woody patches, that feel like tunnels of either protection or fear of the unknown, yet always in the covering of the Almighty, who provides the light to see by. My journey is not complete, but it continues on. I hope you will continue in your journey as well. Though we may be in different places in our life, we have a lot to share with the world about how Christ enables and takes us through our journey. Though I share not much about myself on here, I see much of myself here.
Someone wanted to know who I was yesterday, and I told them read my sight and you will know. Yet that not so true either. You will know my passion is to share Jesus, and I hope that your passion too. If I share something about myself I hope you realize my humanity as well as God's mercy and grace in my life. The same mercy and grace in my life through Christ Jesus is also for you. God loves everyone that he gave us Jesus. Strive to know Jesus, not a human teacher. Nothing wrong with knowing your human teacher, but the one you need to know is the only one that can save your soul, and that is Christ your redeemer and hopefuly friend.
