 Month Of August 2022: Healthy School Year by Christina Farris 8/01/2022 Bees and birds are buzzing around in the warm mid summer air, as families prepare their children for the busy work of grade school, high school, college or all the above. What seems to be busy is often thought to be for one's future career. Bees however have only one career to produce honey and to fight with their little stinger anyone getting in the way of their work. As the school year begans, we going to be studying different careers in scripture. A change from the normal minister and preacher work, but what else did people do daily whether career or daily chores. How does this relate to our world today. Is this work still in existent today, by another name? Something to think on, what is the oldest careers out there in history? |

August's Prayer List by Christina Farris 8/01/2022Pray for the students going back to school, whether it be online, in the classroom, or both. Pray for the littlest student to the oldest student of the academic field of learning. Pray they will learn, listen, and achieve new goals as they begin this school year. Pray for them as they face new challenges that God will reach into their hearts through those that will be shedding the light of Christ where ever they go. Pray that they will have friends, encouragers of hardwork, to grow in knowledge and wisdom this year. Pray for the teacher to have patience, love, and hope for each student. That wy will be good instructors, that will be inspired each student to learn and achieve with hard work. That they will have the best year yet to come. |
