 Month Of September: by Christina Farris 09/01/2016One can not be a fishermen like Jesus unless one knows how to fish. Fishing is easy you just bait your hook and cast your hook into the sea. Better start with the little pond where you live before trying to take on the world for Jesus. Learning to walk as Jesus did listening to the crowd. Listening to their questions and learning God's answer is what all believers must do to see a soul won for Jesus. Learning to allow God to convict a person and you just answer what they want to know, if you have the answer and always point to Christ. Sometimes being the asker and sometimes just hearing and obeying the Spirit of God. Month of September is about being fishers of men and following in the ways of God and the ways of Christ to do so. |

| Prayer For The Elderly by Christina Farris 09/1/2016Dear Heavenly Father I thank you for the older people in my life both now and years gone by who have lead the path of righteousness toward Jesus. They passed on the old paths to their children and friends. Continue to raise up godly people to fill the position of those who are coming home to you. Give us people of sound mind, love, and obedience to your word. Giving us elderly people with mercy and compassion, with the wisdom only you can provide. Be with the elderly in nursing homes with no family to see them that a hand be extend to them through the younger generation of our world. Be with the sick and dying that this is not their call to fire gates called hell. Open their hearts to recieve Christ before it is to late, In Jesus precious name, Amen This month is elderly month consider spending time with an elder today. |
