Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris
As every morning I rise to only write for another day, I wrote up yesterday devotion today. And yet I must apologize for being late. Today is a dawning of a new day and God is never late but always on time. Godís timing is one humans will perhaps never fully understand. It easy to understand Godís timing in provision of manna with people crying out because of hunger. That was Godís mercy and deliverance in the wilderness. It Godís timing is declared throughout the ages. From children of Abraham going into exile, and then being deliver out of Egypt. To the foreknowledge of exile into Babylon and the return out of Babylon. The coming Messiah to the destruction of Israel to the Israel becoming a free state once again. The times we live in is only a shadow of events to come of the dooms day prediction of the end of time. The foreknowledge of the word of God is divine. Something predictable but not the table in which these events will occur when there is time of peace and safety. Humans can not predict 1000 years to the day from now what will happen or 400 years. To many plagues and famine to know what tribe or group of people will be living still. Yet God knows all these things.
Man does not know the hour of Christ return. If you hear people claiming Jesus is hear and you have not seen him, beware. For Christ coming all will see Him in the air. Hard to imagine with the world being round. Yet we expect a global disaster at the return of Christ. I guess for those not rapture up, pilots will go in shock that remain as well drivers on the highway at seeing Jesus in the air. Be worse then the movie Independence Day with Will Smith when the aliens came to town.
See people been waiting over 2000 years for the return of Christ. Many doubt of his existence as well as His return. Yet those with faith know the power of God is real and wait for Christ return. Knowing he comes to earth like He left. May God grant us patience and faith for the biggest event to come of our lives.
Dear Heavenly Father give us the grace and power to hold to our faith without doubting knowing your teachings and words are true. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 KJV
(16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
(17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
(18) Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
