|Time Of Christ: Jesus Taught Us About Being Blessed
Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris
What does it mean to be blessed? It more then just knowing you will one day be rewarded for things you do that are good, but understanding as a believer the hope that is to come and while on this earth one might suffer but it is only for a time. God blessing are for eternity. It is hard to understand when one chooses to be merciful in a situation that one will receive a reward in heaven. It is hard to grasp heaven when one is hurting while choosing to be merciful to someone. It is hard to understand the blessings of starving, being thirsty, or mourning over a loss of a love one. One might receive comfort from friends and others. One is guaranteed receive the comfort of the Holy Spirit if one believes and ask. Yet is that enough to only to have the blessings of God in spiritual and emotional sense or is food of this world enough to satisfy upon times of feasting when there is plenty to go around.
Godís blessings are about the here and now as well as future in heaven. We are the salt, we are light of the world. We are the hope to the world for them to hear the Gospel, and to hear the truth about Godís love. God placed it in our hands to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To spread the love of God to the world. Does He need us to spread it, no but he using us, because one thing God created humans to do is show compassion to others by His Spirit and on our own too. It more then just feeling hug from Godís Spirit but the needing the human touch of another. God sends his people out to show love to prepare the way for people to receive Christ. We are the salt that share the word and are the only light to the darken world. We are like the stars in the sky shining to the world that is seeped in evilness of the world.
It hard to grasp that each of us has an evil part. It like a double twin one being good and one being evil, The evil part that part that most try to hide or cover up and the good part being what people like to let shine. God buries are sin in the sea of forgetfulness, but our evil ways are still attached to our memory. It means we have to try and do better by living by Godís word daily in our life. God creates us into a new creation, but we remember what we were, only to know the power of Godís saving grace in our life. How He changes us and can change other vile and wicked sinners that were like us before we got saved. Our blessing is the saving grace of God a better world to live in. Heaven is our home to come.
Dear Heavenly Father thank you for the grace to stand and to believe in your blessings of mercy and hope for a better tomorrow for your people. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 KJV
(17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
(18) And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
(19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
(20) Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
(21) For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
