God Never Intended Us To Face His Wrath
09/01/2016

Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris

1 Thessalonians 5:8-9 KJV
(8) But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
(9) For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

This month of September is not a month to take lightly in regards to the topic we will be sharing but we will be talking about fishing, yet in order to fish one needs to get saved first. I been writing eleven years 365 days a year. Out of those 365 days I have missed very few days. That not boasting it just a fact. If my writing could of saved me it would have perhaps, but salvation cannot come from the amount one types for God. Salvation does nto come by works. Salvation comes by putting on believ in the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation starts with the helmet that protects the head and brain. A football player without a helmet might face brain injury or worse loose all his marbles on the field with sudden impact of another player. There two players in the field of life those on God’s side doing it God’s way and those in total opposition to God’s way.

The team for the devil wears no helmet of salvation. David did not wear the kings armor because the only armor he needed to fight in battle was the Lord’s. David went to battle against Goliath fighting the way God had taught him to fight against bears, and other predators that would harm the sheep. If you going to learn to fight God’s way you have to wear his armor. His armor comes through faith in Christ Jesus as salvation helmet. When one ask forgiveness of sin and repents one is saved. Confessing Christ as Lord is admitting He is superior. Adam and Eve did not acknowledge God has superior when they broke the law of God. God never intended Adam and Eve to sin, but upon oding so they faced His punishment for sin.

God never intended one person to go to hell, but all are destine to go to fire place called hell, because of one sin and the consequence for that sin of Adam bring us to a world of sin and death, death facing the judgment of sin. God sent Jesus to save us from our sin. Save us from original sin of Adam and Eve. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord scripture says speaking to the believer. The believer not facing death spiritually but going straight to heaven. Because of salvation through belief in Jesus, the believer will not experience the fiery pit beyond the possible vision of hell or looking over into it from heaven like Lazarus did with Abraham and seen the rich man that would not give him even a crumb from his table. There been people claiming to see visions of the place of torment, if nothing more then a warning to people, or a warning to the individual no one truly knows.

If God’s intent was never to seen anyone to the fiery pit why does He do so? It has to do with consequences for our actions without salvation without believing in Jesus the word of God. It is the consequences for unbelief. God’s helmet is important. One can not be a fire fighter without knowing how to allow God to rescue them. Jesus came baiting the hook to catch his disciples to enable them to believe and the crowd around Him. Jesus the master fire fighter, but he is also the foundation of salvation, the protector of our hearts, minds and soul to them that believe. Are you wearing the miner hat to see by in the darken world we live in, or only stumbling in the dark with out the salvation of the light of the world. Put on the Lord Jesus Christ today by believing and confession of sin, asking Jesus to forgive you and turning from sin.

Dear Heavenly Father forgive me of my sins and I ask Jesus into my heart today, asking him to be my helmet to protect my head and heart from sin. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
