Month Of February 2021: Road Dirt In 2021

Now the stain and scrubbing from last month only means time for shaking the dust off and washing the feet only. Meaning the sack cloth and ashes are only a symbol of the mourning of grief when we fail God. Jesus tenderly washes our feet for our journey ahead. The journey of only the dust needed removing from the outside. The spit shine and polish approach for the shoe shine boy. Young boys use to go around and shine men's boots and dress shoes for a few nickes and dimes. Removing the road dirt of travel or walking around town. Today, no one cares what their shoes look like, because they either wash them or simply buy another pair. If are shoes are our salvation are we keeping our salvation clean from pollution. Only part that needs continue shining.

February is also couples month or relationship month. What is your relationship with Jesus about? Is your family in a relationship with Jesus. Is your home based on the love of Christ and that relationship?

Dear Heavenly Father, this month we are praying for families and the relationship of couples. That couples will grow in the right relationship with each others, built on a firm foundation of your word first, then love, and trust. That the relationship of our faith will be reflection in our marriage and our families. That God will strength the home. In Jesus name Amen. Truth this year has been difficult for the family because either you love who you are stuck with or tolerant of them. Pandemics can either make the heart stronger for families or weaker. It encourage discipline of the home, and relationships within or it will destroy it.
