1 Peter 5:6-10 KJV
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Yesterday, as I watch this young lady who has been appearing in on facebook news feeds in a reel preach with all the energy her youth possessed and excitement about her Savior, she would tell you her God could shut the mourhs of lions and if you did not believe her, she try and convince you some other way with proof God still a God of here and now, not just a God of scripture of the past. For my age it is exciting to see young people love God's word as much as I do if only through a video. To see God's word still being share in a way that attracts young and old alike that desire to hear from God's word what God has to say to them by the Spirit speaking to the heart.

Key point do you realize if God can shut the lion's mouth in the days of Daniel he can do the same for you and I. This is Thanksgiving Day Countdown Message 2 of things to be thankful for. God knows how to shut the mouths of lions. Do you believe that today. We serve the God that has, will and right now shut the mouths of lions. Lions that will try to destroy you. Lions that care nothing about God, yet God is able to stop their ability to speak and they to will fall down to their knees and worship God.

God is able to bring our enemies to the throne of grace. Saul(name would change his name to Paul, after his conversion experience in Acts 9), was a persecutor of the early church. He got saved on the road going to Damascus. That is one killer and persecuter of the church that found himself in awe of his Savior Jesus. That was only one enemy but he was an enemy who was defeat and stopped persecuting the church after seeing Jesus through the blinding light on the road to Damascus.

We dont want God to just shut the mouths of the enemy we want to be praising God that has the power to save and change the enemy because we to without salvation were an enemy of God and Christ Jesus without maybe understanding that we were an enemy before salvation. If Jesus can change you and me, Jesus can change anybody. Let us thank God for his salvation that even for his enemies that will repent and believe.

Dear Heavenly Father change enemy to hear and to be able to receive your truth. We praise you for pur own salvation but alsothe change through Christ has on even our own enemy, in Jesus precious name, Amen
