Ninja Warriors Invisible Ladders Of Faith

Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris

Hebrews 11:7 KJV
(7) By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

There is two parts of faith. Faith meaning both belief and works. Faith being action as far as doing the will of God and believing in God first. Noah believed God enough to obey his voice for hundred years. He built this huge ark by faith. He believed what God said despite what anyone else thought. His faith saved his family and 2 of every kind of animal. The reality of what faith can bring to another is more scarier then the reality of God. Because if you believe and demonstrate your faith judgment to someone without faith is sure to come. Your faith protecting you, but destruction coming to the enemy.

God’s people to war against each other is stupid. You can not have to groups of people on the same side warring to win. God does not choose sides of believers with action of faith and love. God’s people come together sooner or later. Has American I wonder who is warring against the enemy and who is really standing in the battle with the Lord. Most religious people claim their way is right but do we obey God out of tradition or out of faith. God can test us in obedience to him. The test is never for God but it is for us. It is to teach us where we lack in obedience. We can not move forward in faith without these test of obedience. It might be easy to believe there is God or to be good person, but it harder to step up to the plate and do what God ask when the world around you is doing something else. Ezekiel laid on his side so many days to testify against Israel. A pastor wife once walked around a church with magazine articles taped to her dress for encouraging missions and I thought to myself I never do that one, yet I had no reason to object. It is putting on the clown face knowing that the rest of the world is not painted with makeup. It is getting on the stage when the rest of the world is in the grand stands ready to boo or cheer you on. It is the court jester never knowing if the court will enjoy and repeat it or boo and throw fruit at you, only telling how you looked like a fool.

What God ask you to do might not get the world’s favor. Yet the devil will disguise himself in a way to deceive you into doing what was thought to be right and it not be of God. One has to learn the voice of God in their heart and mind. Must learn to be in tune to the Spirit of God. Was Noah in tuned to God, he found grace in the eyes of God because he was consider righteous in his generation. Abraham found that same type of grace from God has he traveled to the promise land. Noah building an ark would of taken faith. Yet building the tower of Babel took faith in men that they knew how to reach God through construction of a building. It be like standing on the Empire States Building to reach God. You might pray at the top but I doubt if you reach heaven by touching a cloud that passes by. Jerusalem built on a hill, could not reach God without prayer and obedience. Many look to Israel as a point of where God had knowingly walked the earth. Yet God is everywhere, not just in Israel. The point of contact being a place to desire to see, yet failing to see that each day we trust in God and His Son, is a walk with Him. That feeling of walking where Christ walked should be in the heart before one walks in a place where we know Christ physically walked. Israel a reminder of God has the sacred symbol of the cross is one of faith in Christ Jesus. Yet it should only be a reminder of what our faith is in our own life, not a point of contact for miracles. To be baptized where Jesus was baptized can not bring spiritual baptizes, but it can wash away your sins with faith as will is the mountain creek or baptismal pool in a church where you live. Not the actual dunking of water but the spiritual baptism of learning God’s word. Learning Gospel of Jesus. Every believer seeing the promise land for the first time no doubt has a unique experience, especially with getting to grasp history of the place with what they have studied perhaps for years. It is like going to Williamsburg or Yorktown to see some of the places of the founding home places of our country and state. Yet the trip is only as good as the teacher and tour guide in that place. Hopefully a trip to the Holy land would be blessed by the teaching of the Holy Spirit to the heart and mind of the believer.

The point of contact is only object of faith, it is not the cure. If there no faith beyond the point of contact then nothing going to happen. Noah point of contact is not seen in scripture. We do not know how Noah faith developed, we just know he believe God enough to be crazy enough o build and ark and tell the world a food was coming to destroy. His faith bringing destruction or a better life for his family. The men of the tower of Babel faith in man brought confusion from the Creator of life. Yet the Creator of life brought hope to the righteous by faith through obedience by the building of the ark in Noah day.

It is crazy to build an ark, yet if God tells you to build an ark, you might better do it. No there no might to it, it better be done. What is your ark is a physical ark, or is it something else. Is it speaking to someone about Jesus, is it going to Africa or Asia, or around the city block. If God tell you to eat honey I sure it not going to hurt you. If God tells you to eat pork, I guarantee you will live to see another day. Noah knew he live to see the rain. As every born again believer will live to see the judgment either in heaven or on earth. Does that take away your hope, it should not, but it could if you have no hope besides the grave. Moses was promised he see the promise land, but he would not get to go in it. He knew whatever time it took to get from point A to point B he had to live. King Saul knew his successor but did not know the time of demise. Peter knew he be lead to a place he did not want to go one day, speaking of his death. Ezekiel knew exile was coming to his people. A way of life was changing.

What then do we think. To be radical in church to speak truth about Jesus seems simple if the congregation is for Christ and not full of demons there to destroy the church. Yet to speak of Jesus in a crowd like Stephen meant death for him, but became life to a watcher named Saul of Tarsus. Is our faith impact the world for good or judgment. Is our testimony for Jesus bring judgment to some and life to others. Is the ark being built through Christ, or only through beams of wood of man’s design. God ability to teach you to be like Noah and Stephen at the point you are now is possible. You might not feel you have the faith to be a Stephen or a Noah. Yet to be like Peter and Paul might seems impossible. Yet God wants to build your faith. Teach you to build through obedience to His Spirit. To build not of the will of man but the will of His calling. Like any Ninja warrior who does those gym bars and stunts it takes practice, but it not impossible to climb the invisible ladder to heaven, despite the wrap walls, and door knobs that do not open doors. We must face those closed doors and open doors with the skills God has granted us.

Dear Heavenly Father give us the ability to climb the invisible ladder of faith, only you can design for us. To build our faith on the foundation of your word and obedience to your word. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
