The devil is a being that exalts himself above God. He feels he in control and can provide for the world. His exaltation of self is that he can protect and provide. In our modern world many a great men have come to the idea they could provide even for their families above God. One thing we must learn in life is God is in control of all. He can make great men fall as cast them into eternity where He is not. He can send a person to eternity where the ruler of hell, thought he was greater in heaven and on earth and is not. Hell is his domain, his home. One day the devil be cast into the eternal lake of fire with all that remain in the fiery pit called hell.

Many of women have worried about if they were truly married to a great provider or not. They knew if their husband’s did not have money and wealth they would not survive if something happened to him. Only recourse was to remarry if they could not find decent work. Today in modern times it only the children that worry about their parents and growing up to be able to care for themselves. It is a waste of a time to worry about the unknown. Yet planning for oneself future as well as one’s loved ones left behind‘s future is part of mainstream life. No amount of planning will prepare a person for their own and their families future. People truly need work insurance incase they get laid off or fired. Insurance to provide for a short bit of time tell another job can be found. Government clls it unemployment but other provision is needed beyond that sometimes. No amount of plaining or preparing for the worse will insure stability.

The devil would like to put as many safe guards around his people but in truth no devil has ever protected completely his people. His branches and plans are beautiful, but in truth they are not lasting. They can be cut down quickly and the world will mourn for the devil. One would think a devil taking care of those under his care is not such a devil. Until one realizes the devil takes people away from trusting in God. The devil’s people cry out manna or steak for dinner. God is looked at not providing for his people by the devil. God takes ax and chops the devil tree down and then ask who is providing for you now. People scatter looking for food and provision and there is none.

If I can say anything about myself I say when I was going through a crisis of not knowing where my next meal was coming from, I had to trust God. Using human resources is not a sign of not trusting God. It is using godly skills to get what needed despite one’s pride. Joseph’s family in the Old Testament had to go to Egypt to get food during a famine, not knowing Joseph was in power. Abraham had even gone to Egypt during times of Famine. Of course Joseph family had money but they had to go before the ruler of the grain. In the process of doing so discovered their brother’s authority. The vision of their brother of them bowing to him was real. Yet his power was for a godly purpose of provision for the known world. Joseph could not hate his family but wept when seeing them.

Assyrians problem was they knew not God and had no desire to know God and so when his tree grew and his protection for the people grew, he grew without the recognization of godly power to allow him to raise him up. In a moment he was gone and his power was gone and he was brought to the grave and his people cried because the one who been caring for their needs was gone. Their food reserve was gone.

Ever change in power caused chaos. Our own nation worries who will be in leadership come next January. Some hoping for change only to find those branches of our government less protective then the year before. The threat of social security benefits no longer being there for people when they grow old. Yet they pay into everyday of their working life. The talk only stress people out, not knowing their future for those who have to rely on it. As the government changes hands once more threats of change that do not always sound good can be looming in the hearts and minds of people. Yet change can be positive as well as bring hope to the economy and future of the people. Talk is cheap.

When our nation fails to recognize God that is when our nation will fall. Our nation struggles with diversity knowing that with God in charge the devil winning is coming to an end. The devil exaltation of himself can only mean he will fall. Our nation needs to look to Jesus. Needs God in control. Whether using Old or New Testament we can learn of God’s protection over his people and how he cuts the devil down to turn the heart of man towards Himself. It sounds as if God is a type of devil until one realize and understands God is only wanting truth to be declared. God is the Creator of us all and the devil exalts his power as if he is the creator which is a lie. God is not so callous as to destroy only to exalt His name, but to take away the evil intent and power of devil that exalted himself above the people as a god, by bewitching them to think he could give them everything and taking what the people have to destroy them.

Dear Heavenly thank you for allowing us to know you will cut the devils out of our life. Knowing you will provide for us if we will only trust in you and obey. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
