Adam discourse with God seems a little unusual with the birth of Seth, but it simply Eve had appointed him another seed. Very little is known about Adam, or how he felt when forced into the world we know as earth. How leaving paradise hurt him and his relationship with God. For Men which would been Adam, Seth and his son that began to call on God. God never stopped talking to Adam apparently. Or maybe it was the loss of Abel that brought Adam to his knees before God. Adam never repented he only blamed Eve for providing the fruit she gave him. It is easy for a man to say I had a reason for my action, but never saying I did it by my own choice. In fact he follow Eve example of not taking responsibility to for sin. Confession of sin comes with our own admittance of guilt. Had the loss of Abel and Cain been so much on Adam. That when God spoke to Adam you have another seed, Adam rejoiced. Had Adam learned the loss of God when he and Eve left the garden. Do you think God does not grieve over His children

Not until the third son did the men begin to worship God but it was of the generation that came after. How Adam must of felt rejected by God, perhaps not even fully understanding the reason for the punishment. Yet God speaking to Adam, shows a relationship with God. After all did Adam know there was punishment for sin. God still talked to Adam even outside the garden. Yet Adam did not worshipped God until the grandson came. Seth was 105 years old when his wife bore Enos. Adam was 800 years old when he had Seth and he died at 930 years old. Adam would worship God when the grandson was born. Seth perhaps learned to worship God from his mother who recognized God had given her a son. Maybe it took 905 years for Adam to understand why God placed him outside the garden and still loved him. The sacrifices Cain and Abel did must have been like a offering to God from man,. An offering given to earn God respect or favor. Maybe like the dinner prepared for God at the time of Abraham. A time when God the Father walked and talked to His creation. Whatever the reason Adam did not begin to worship God til the grandson. And though most of what I wrote is speculation it something to think about, has there been times in your life when you did not worship God though you believed in God. Think about it. What brings you to your knees before the throne is it his awesomeness, his beauty of creation or just his mercy and grace?

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for giving us time to worship and adore you even when there times in our humanity we might not. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
