Time Of Christ: Like The Angels Of Heaven

Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris

Matthew 22:24-33 KJV
(24) Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
(25) Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
(26) Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.
(27) And last of all the woman died also.
(28) Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
(29) Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
(30) For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
(31) But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,
(32) I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
(33) And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

We are like the angels in heaven. The fact is many people strive of what they will be like in heaven, in simple truth down to who one is married too. Fact is each of are individual servants of God and our relationship with each other is not based on spiritual things but of things of this earth. Our relationship with people are based on what we physical see about each other and not what is written on our hearts, though often our action speaks our heart, it is not who we are in this world.

Our marriage to God is spiritual and when we go to be with Him. We know that eternity is a long time, but we also know we go reign with Him, because we are children, because we are heirs to the kingdom as Godís child. One is married to no other but Christ Jesus. One is married to know other demi god or goddess. If we go to heaven we will only have one God in our life for eternity. It does not mean we will not know others in heaven, but our relationship is spiritual and we will in the resurrection have both a spiritual and incorruptible body that will not fade away. The believers that rose at the time of Christ death walk physically into Jerusalem, and what happened next scripture is not clear but apparently they went on to heaven when Christ rose from the grave. The saints of God will return with Christ Jesus. Will come as military force across the land. Those that believe will be raptured up to meet the army in the sky and the enemy will remain below.

Dear Heavenly Father let us thinkupon the spiritual marriage of eternity when you come to take your bride home to reign with you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
