The humanity of the human world, from the Stars of government and movies, to the man/woman living on the street, are all the same in God’s eyes. We are his children and offspring of His Son to those that believe. As believers we worship God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. This week we been concentration on Jesus lordship over the believer. Several things to note is Jesus is the one in charge of His children. The military has several ranks before you get to the President and chief of our nation. When it comes to Jesus every believer has the right to bow their head and pray to Him. A person on the street would have to have clearance before shaking the president’s hand. Unless the President stop and did so on his own despite his body guards advice. Clearance could take time, unless otherwise it was granted. With Jesus the only thing needed is to call his name. Even the devil talks to God. Think about it for a moment that if devil being so perverse can still talk to God who would stop you, because I doubt you worse then the devil. What it means is God only answers repented hearts, no devil had discourse with him in Job 1. God however does not take orders from anyone. His power and authority is superior to all.

Apollos and Paul has authority to govern you relationship with God. If you reading I can not tell you what to believe only advise you to believe in Jesus and God. To follow God’s way of doing things. To believe in what the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart. Men wanted to bow to Apollos and Paul. Who is Apollos and who is Paul? Who am I and who are you? The simple truth is Apollos and Paul preached but God increased their numbers in faith.

Something interesting about faith an occult will try and rob you of simple child like belief, by causing you to look to man and not God. If someone thinks you will do their every whim, they will control you. Some country have leaders that if you do not smile when they tell you too it can be a problem. If you refuse to look a certain way they will arrest you for it. Yet it more then that they exalt their power over you in such away that it unbearable a form of forced slavery. Freedom is not slavery nor is it mind control, but choice.

Does God force us to obey Him. Not exactly. It kind of like you can do what you want and believe what you will, but there is a price you will pay. It is a price that will cost you paradise. God’s freedom is for our protection. Our freedom is for our choice to think our way is better then God.

Paul and Apollos want no power but to share the word of truth with those that did not believe. They wanted to teach the right way to live. To teach the value of walking by God’s Spirit. To teach that they themselves were only human. That people needed to look to God for themselves. Jesus being the Word and part of God that always was and is God, He desires to be worshipped and believed for our protection in life. Upon belief we either can be devil or saint. But if we are devil we will live eternally without God in fiery pit of torment.
