24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. The sound of rain on a tin roof sounds wonderful if it is secure on a house on solid foundation, but if the roof is solid and the foundation is weak the roof going to come down right on top of you. The beating of drums can be a wonderful sound in celebration, but the beating of drums for war is a dreadful sound of chaos fixing to errupt somewhere. Safety and security is taken in war time, no matter how strong the troops. The sound of war for freedom rang on our shores back in the days of the Revolutionary war, but our liberty was seen threaten with 911. The question is who was attacking our liberty, those against the freedom of the USA. The drumming of war sounded in our streets as we wage war in the gulf. No ever imaging anything like this would happen in our streets. Yet the reality is once again beckoning with monument destruction, gang violence, and more. A day does not go by where military and officers of law do not protect our streets from criminals, terrorist and more.
What hope do we have in our land, but the hope of faith in Christ Jesus, our foundation of faith that we can carry with us no matter the battle in life, no matter the battle on the street, no matter the destruction of nature's fury, destruction by God, or destruction of man. It matter not faith can be carried through whatever comes. No storm, no flood, no hurricane, no tornado, no fire, no accident, no intrusion of the enemy can destroy faith in Christ Jesus. Yet we must ask what foundation are you built upon. Are you built on Christ the solid rock, or are you built only on sinking sin and lies of Satan deception? Beware of you you build your faith on. Jesus will always be there, even when it seems there is no way out. He either take you home, or provide a way of escape, but the peace he brings to the soul is a peace only he can bring. Trust Jesus today. The solid rock of faith built on Jesus. The chief corner stone. If we obey Christ Jesus we are built on solid ground. What are you built on.
Dear Heavenly Father Let us stand on the firm foundation built on Christ Jesus, let those drums no matter how they come, be found in celebration of our Lord. Knowing we stand on Christ Jesus we are not standing on sinking sand, but a solid foundation that will carry us upward toward Heaven. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
