Month Of June 2020: Moving Forward by Christina Farris 5/01/2020 Glorying God The Father In the victories of our life. Yesterday I broke down in tears as I looked at the death toll in my own state, and then I quickly flipped to the population of my state to see the victory of lives so far saved compared to those lost and the battle did not seem over, but beatable. The glimmer of morning light as the dew is shining as it dries in the morning sun, we quickly realize we have only yet begun our day, or even our morning hours. Let us not cease to celebrate the victories with the sorrow, because we forget how to take our feet and move ahead in life journey. Cry if you must, but keep moving forward with the guidelines of safety set before us. No safety net is truly safe except found in knowing Christ Jesus, the insurance of our soul. Yet it is better to take all safety precaustions and having them in place, then not having them at all. Wear the mask in quiet protest behind the mask for a little longer and see if we can not win this fight. Then let Cov-19/Coronavirus say you won your fight, I can not survive in a world of clean freaks with disinfectants. |

June's Prayer List by Christina Farris 6/01/2020Prayers for the family as life has caused many changes to occur in our families and as the pandemic has drag on, it is effecting us all. We are almost at the honey moon phase of the pandemic being over and now forcing ourselves to learn to tolerate all those habits picked up outside the family unit that is annoying even those little things that use to be cute are now aggravating. This is the time, when family unit is now force to either segregate themselves and spend time alone or focus on how to spend those waking hours in unity within the household and outside in the nice warm summer air. Family unit is important and the focus of survival is on that unit. Pray for that unity to continue despite these days of not only separation but going back into the world unknown as each new phase to create a safe work and living environment outside the home continues in steps and stages. At least most of us have toilet paper now. The truth is we have to focus on where society is headed and how to keep our freedom, privacy, as we know and understand it was meant to be. |
