Luke 1:39-45 KJV
39 And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Juda;
40 And entered into the house of Zacharias, and saluted Elisabeth.
41 And it came to pass, that, when Elisabeth heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost:
42 And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.
43 And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.
45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

I want to regroup for a moment, go to verse 45 where it says "blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord". I learn things as I go along too. here it says the key phrase "performance of those things which were told her from the Lord". Keyword in that phrase "performance" Some might wonder what this mean but Mary would experience of the hovering of God's Spirit over her. Why is this important. God is a God that does things in ritual speaking. With Abraham there is a small scene of God passing between the meat that was laid out(15:17). In the story of God's contract/covenant with Abraham, he did a traditional contract of that day, something Abraham would of understood. Mary would of been the first woman that is recorded about since the time of Eve that had a spiritual mental and physical encounter with God in form of contract of new life being formed within her. Just like God took Adam's rib, and created the first woman, God word would of formed his son in Mary's womb, but the hovering or presence of God would of been manifested to Mary.

Now several things happen in the verse above the word performance that God was manifesting himself to Mary when he would hover over her. It is imporant to note these things, because God speaks in a way man or woman will understand. There is another woman having an encounter with God would be Sarah(who remained behind the tent wall). God said to Abraham why did your wife laugh after he said she would become pregnant. Sarah lied and said she did not laugh(Genesis). It imporant to note that God wants not only to demonstrate or perform what he says he will do, he wants to make it known, perhaps for our own education/ need of us humans of sign demonstration of truth. That where the story pics up in my point of all the powerful sign God gave Mary of the conception of her first born name Jesus. Elizabeth was great with child and Mary when she went to see Elizabeth, Mary greeted Elizabeth and John(the unborn baby) leaped for joy in Elizabeth's womb. Elizabeth filled with the Holy Spirit began to prophesy to Mary about the baby she would be carrying. Now we need to take note it been six months since Elizabeth had conceived when Gabriel visited Mary and Angel Gabriel said she would have a son. Elizabeth was almost term, just few more months. Mary did stay with her(but that another lesson). However she witness one more sign the birth of John that would aid her probably in giving birth herself. God's provision for Mary.

Mary second sign that she have a child came to light as she enter Elizabeth house, The first sign would be presence of Gabriel. The third sign no doubt the hovering of the Holy Spirit. The encounter taking place a special event to commorate the event in Mary's life concering the promise hope of the Messiah coming. Mary was chosen because of her virginity and her righteousness through faith. No doubt as the story unfolded Mary knew without a doubt the reality of her own conception even before the first kick of Jesus in her womb. She being more blessed not just in carrying the Messiah, but with information not known by many woman before the first evidence of life within the womb. Though woman can have morning sickness very early in pregnancy, there was no guarantee that was it or even a missed period. Yet Mary would have plenty of information for her to know the reality of this life growing within her. From angel, to prophesy to hovering. How blessed was she to just carry our Lord. Blessed to be carrying Jesus with signs and wonders at the onset of life within her womb.

Dear Heavenly Father, you desire to give the believer evidence, proof of what you say. You gave Abraham evidence of the reality of his contract with him that he would be a father of a great nation. Jesus coming fulfilled Old Testament prophesy concerning when Jesus would come. All signs leading to the promise Messiah. Thank you for your signs through scripture and, through prophecy and evidence of signs and wonders. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.
17 And it came to pass, that, when the sun went down, and it was dark, behold a smoking furnace, and a burning lamp that passed between those pieces.
