The family tree of many of us can date back to early history for those who are able to trace through old records. My own history going back to Europe and before, yet I never been in to genealogy. It one of those things I stay away from if I can. Yet the interesting thing is that Christ genealogy is only important to those who want to prove the validity of Christ kingship and priesthood. Yet Christ priesthood comes not from human genealogy in one sense the family line and right to teach and preach was important. His kingship was important to be judge to be a ruler. The tribe of Judea was the kingly line ordained by God from early history. Yet it was the origin of Jesus rightful seat to begin his ministry at age thirty.

Priest in the Jewish family usually did not begin ministry till age thirty. Then they would choose to continue as called into the priesthood. Jesus was born into the David line kingly line. Ordained and called by God to be a minister from birth. Though He is the Only begotten Son of God and true origin of not his earthly father Joseph but God, give him no earthly heir but through the line of Mary and Mary heritage is not recorded. Woman’s heritage was never recorded in the history, so women were known by their husbands. And through scripture tells many woman stories, their history can only be proven by their husband origin.

What the point Jews in ancient day did not keep woman’s history and God was Jesus’ father, then his priesthood comes from God the Father himself. He being in the line of Melchizedek according to book of Hebrews and other places. Him being a world prophet and priest, and not just a local or national prophet. Melchizedek was world prophet of his day. Aaron and Moses only a prophet and priest of the Jewish people. There is something that only can be defined by Christ resurrection and victory over death. The fact he ministered to both Jewish and Gentiles.

The social order of priesthood seems like you have to take your rightful seat despite your other interest. Your ordination or call of God is separate from you earthly work or income sometimes. It is a crazy world we live in but to be called by God one must be so incline to have faith, no there were false prophets called to do the will of God as well. Your call is based on your choice to follow God or follow the devil.

God is called each of us to ministry whether Jew or Gentile. Our station and where we serve is based on the call in our life. Not on the call of man. Man might decide to elect but God is our elector. Man might approve but God is still our approver of who child we are and who we serve. Jesus choice was before He was born and proven in scripture by Psalms 2 and 110. Yet one has to take all this on faith because it is prophesy.

Is your life prophetic only in obedience to God’s word. The rest of your destiny depends on other choices and desires in your life. You can fly to the moon and still serve God. You can roll skate and still serve God. You can be a doctor ands till serve God. You can be a janitor or factory worker and still serve God. However make sure you calling and election to where you serve is where you should serve.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for the call you have for each of us. Christ calling to be the Savior of the World, by teaching, preaching, healing, the cross and resurrection was His call on his life. Help us to full fill our duties as believers in Christ. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
