God's Clog Removal System

Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris

Romans 4:3-13 KJV
(3) For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
(4) Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
(5) But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
(6) Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
(7) Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
(8) Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
(9) Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.
(10) How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
(11) And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:
(12) And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.
(13) For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

What is faith in God truly about? Abraham had faith long before his circumcision which would be sign of his righteousness through faith. Ishmael and Isaac were both circumcised in scripture. Now I am not going to go around pulling people pants down to find out if they are circumcised or not, because in truth the real circumcision is of the heart that God does himself by the Holy Spirit. A few years when I was going through heart trouble they found that the lining of my blood vessels were thickening up. Not unusual when you get older, but it is a problem if it becomes to thick it can cause a heart attack. The lining was only 20% thickened meaning no surgery at this time. Yet it did mean I eventually would need it removed or have a major heart attack. Yesterday I cut my two different fingers. One bleed very little and the other just wanted to pour. There is times our spiritual heart is clogged and when it clogged no amount of cutting will allow it to flow without the hand of God. Then there times when the blood flows freely with one thin slice of the removal of the clog. It flows with just a paper cut fine slice. These two cuts were not much more then the size of straight edge of a finger nail, one with a knife one with a grater. Both equal in pain. Yet the one that was poured more needed the most attention. The wounds of our heart that needs the most attention is the wounds and clogs caused by sin. Then the wounds that still need attention and removal are like the wounds caused by loved ones, and death of those we care about. All these cause the spiritual heart not to be able to work properly until the issue is fixed correctly. Well some problems need a balloon or stint to go into the heart to remove a blockage or a clog and the other types of blockage need surgery. The hardening of the arteries means one is getting old, but repairs can be made. With no procedure the blood will flow fine but not as effectively.

A person without God might have a good life and even love, but what they do not have is a way to unclog sin, or thickening of the lining of the vessels. God is the only one that can remove sin and he is the only one that can repair the heart when sin clogs it. Abraham had faith before circumcision, but the circumcision was not a removal sin, but a sin he was a righteous man by faith in God. Now there plenty of people with faith in God before salvation and there plenty of people with faith after salvation. Yet not until repentance comes does salvation come. We are made righteous by faith in God worthy to approach the throne of God. Yet now upon belief and approach of the throne our unworthiness to approach the throne we need an intercessor or high priest. Our High Priest is Jesus, our intercessor is Jesus. Faith be our protection to approach God, but His word of salvation through Christ is our protection. God governs himself by what he says he will do with the clause of mercy and grace. God protection is mercy when it comes to judgment. Now the Holy Spirit is like the medicine given for heart trouble, it continues to make repairs and keep clogs under control, until our death and we go to be home with Jesus.

Our heart needs the sanctification process done by Godís Holy Word and His Spirit. Without it we stand before a Holy God with clogs or blockages. Much like going through some business phone services in our world today. You get the computer alterative service and voice response only to find you do not know the right response. Trying to get to the place you need with out the right response can get you a repeated message with the right responses they will take, but all can be bypassed if you know the right response to get to right level you need in the phone service. Yet until you respond correctly you never reach a service tech. Well in Godís world you never reach him until you come first with recognition that he exist and second course must come with repentance. However not knowing to repent does not mean God does not hear, or respond, it means he will send you a technician that will hopefully help you if they will only obey God voice. If God gets frustrated enough with the technician he comes and talks to you one on one, no he talks one on one without going through all those technicians if we have the by pass code. The by pass code is Jesus. He is the salvation of our hearts to our Heavenly Father.

Dear Heavenly Father circumcise our hearts through belief and then through repentance, trusting only the clog removal that is your salvation plan through belief in Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit, upon confession of sin.. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study for Devotion:Romans 10:9-11 KJV
(9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
(10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
(11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
