God Loves You

Daily Devotions: by Christina Farris

Romans 5:1-21 KJV
(1) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
(2) By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
(3) And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
(4) And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
(5) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
(6) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
(7) For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
(8) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
(9) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
(10) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
(11) And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
(12) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
(13) (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
(14) Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
(15) But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
(16) And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
(17) For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
(18) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
(19) For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
(20) Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
(21) That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Children and offspring of Adam face the punishment of death because of one sin of man. One must ask is it fair that I suffer because of Adam? Is it fair I suffer persecution or pain because of another. Should you have to deal with the pain someone causes because of their mistake? Death comes by disobedience, no it came with the first punishment of sin. Consequence of sin globally or individually is effecting our world. If you plan you death who will your death effect? Nightmare of children and teens can tell you who their parents effected. Murder, rape, abuse, driving while intoxicated and causing an accident has it consequences. The shove in the hallway at school, or stealing money without intent, or intent to do so. All kinds of sin causes effect on the world, but the worse sin is those things that effect children, yet it only still sin. We all seemed to inherit Adamís gene of rebellion against the word of God. Disobedience to Godís word caused death, sin causes separation from God. The sin that God does not inputeth on man is because of faith in Him. Faith gives one freedom and hope. Faith must begin in Godís salvation plan through His Son. That through His Son one would and could receive eternal salvation. Through one man death came to all mankind and through one man death mankind is saved. Only this can be is through Godís plan. Jesus had to live perfectly for him to be the sacrificial Lamb. Perception of believers is Jesus is perfect in the ways of obedience to God. Abraham was called righteous because He believed God this was before Christ came in the flesh. Abraham believed and it was counted to him as righteousness. Righteousness only gained by faith. Our righteousness comes through faith in Jesus as our salvation plan by the will of God.

I once had a lady declare in Bible study she was perfect she had never sinned. It caught me off guard. One of the requires of receiving Christ is to confess one is a sinner. By this womanís own eyes she could not see her imperfection. There a lot more to the story I can not and will not write about. This happened many years ago, and the woman passed away without the knowledge she too was imperfect because of sin, but made perfect through faith in Christ Jesus when one receives him as Lord.

The idea of the need of salvation comes from the first sin in the garden of Eden that got man cast out of. Adam was created outside the garden and then placed in the garden. Take time to read the beginning of Genesis 2. I do not make that up. Most seldom see Adam being elsewhere created before being placed in the garden. I have to wonder about this clay/mud he was formed out of. Had God taken his big hands standing outside his habitation and then like looking at a childís doll house, placed man within the garden. God tells Adam donít eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Eve is wife created from Adam within the gate of heaven,, sees the fruit and desires it with temptation from Satan himself. Adam, Eve and Satan are cast out of heaven.

God loved man and all his creation. He sent his Son to be the proprietor of our sin. His word being our judge, but being more then judge but a testimony of our sin. The punishment of sin is death, but the gift of God comes through Jesus Christ our Lord. Without knowledge of sin we are not guilty and with the knowledge of sin there is guilty if one mindset is a desire to be right with God.

The conviction of sin must come by the Holy Spirit upon our hearts, because without Holy Spirit conviction groups of society never believe they make mistakes. Yet Godís grace also says we are saved through eternity, when we receive Christ as Lord, and our hearts are witness for our hearts cry Abba, Father. It is God loving us to redeem us that gives the whole world hope, upon faith in Jesus. Faith without obedience is dead. For if we believe then the fear of God is upon heart. With obedience or striving to obey then our faith becomes active. The first act of faith is believing, and confessing of sin. Without Godís mercy and love we all would be dying and going to hell.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for love and your mercy toward us as sinners, that upon repentance and believe Jesus paid the price for my sins, I have eternal security with you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study for Devotion:Galatians 4:3-6 KJV
(3) Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
(4) But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
(5) To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
(6) And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
