(6) And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
(7) And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
(8) But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.

Genesis 6:18-22 KJV
(18) But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.
(19) And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
(20) Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
(21) And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
(22) Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

For God so loved the world He gave His Only Son, is the first part of John 3:16. One might ask God if Noah was the only person on the earth that found grace in God’s sight, how could scripture say later He loved the world. God’s plan of salvation came long before Noah. Yet in Noah day the height of sin had reached heaven to the point that God had to turn away from the wickedness of man. Yet because of one faithful man God did not want to destroy man completely. No one wants to think of only one family escaping a flood because of God’s mercy, but it happened. Noah, a preacher of righteousness, found God’s grace despite God’s anger against the rest of the world. One might ask how bad was the rest of the world that caused God’s anger to destroy it. Had Innocent people begin to be slaughtered that God heard their voice cry out. Had blasphemy been on the lips of the world, that only one man still had faith in God. God’s mercy has a lot to do with our response to Him and faith in Him.

The other day I got mad at my husband. The roof needed fixing, it was raining and in the wrong place, inside the house. Of course it was only a small leak, but a leak is a leak. Repairs had to be made and a solution found until repairs could be made. The problem is that my husband can not do the things he use too. Yet he still has skills to do many of the things he once could without giving a thought to it. Joints and bones do not move like they use to and rain intensifies the situation. Yet I found grace in my husband eyes as the roof slowly got repaired. The climbing of a ladder and the inability to bend and rise as he use too, only intensified the love and compassion of the repair job.

It is the love that keeps a marriage intact, by often little things in life. Relationship with God has to do with the little things we do for God. Just a song on our lips or praise to Him acknowledge his gifts and grace is only a small portion of it. It has to do with the love we have for one another. God grace failed when man’s sin of disobedience reached the heights of heaven. If I talk about sin reaching the height of heaven, how much sin does it take before it effects us, to where we loose God’s grace with or without faith. Sodom and Gomorrah was found with sin that God destroyed, saving only Lot’s family. Cain new God’s mercy, but also the cost of disobedience was absents from God’s presences. Only with God’s turning away is man out of the presents of God. Yet God’s grace of provision was for all, until sin reached heaven. God choose to love man as He loved Cain by giving him the authority he wanted in his life, for he had rejected God‘s instruction. Noah desired to have God’s instruction in his life. He even built an ark as instructed. God’s grace for Noah family had to do with Noah’s willingness to obey God.

Grace of provisions for the ark handed to Noah, as the animals marched into the ark. God’s grace provided for his children of obedience even when His wrath will be poured out on the children of disobedience. God’s grace abounds for a time even on the heathen, but eventually God’s will not tolerate children of disobedience. God’s punishment is eventually poured out. Some might say God’s punishment is grace has well. For sin that reaches height of heaven is sin that caused destruction to more then just oneself, it probably was effecting others. The grace that Noah found had to do with his faith and his obedience. Do we have faith, do we obey, or do we believe like Cain and still sin.

God’s grace and provision for the world does come at a price of our willingness to believe and obey. Yet grace is only extended for time on the believers that obey not God’s voice. God’s grace is only extended for a time to heathens for they will one day be destroyed, because of no faith. Yet faith comes with simply believing what God says and knowing what He speaks is true in our hearts. The world found grace in God’s eyes when He sent His Son to die for us. Will the world obeyed God through their action. Not all believed in God, but some obeyed God despite whether or not they had faith. Christ came so non believers might have faith. Right now the church world is being tested by a new prophesy to see if it has truth within the four walls. Yet even the heathens know the time of the end of the world is coming, they have heard tv evangelist say it, but never take it to heart. Noah found grace by taking what was spoken to him as truth and carried out the design plans of the ark that God gave Him. God’s grace came through Christ Jesus upon belief in him, but if we do not love Him then we are none of his. We demonstrate our love through our obedience.

Dear Heavenly Father thank you for your grace to us as believers that obey, and for the short time of grace for the heathen. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
