turtle30cshell Daily Devotions For November 19, 2023
Day 19 of Our Thanksgiving Countdown
11/19/2023

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Psalm 103:1-5 KJV
1 A Psalm of David. Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

The other day I got to thank and old retired doctor of the treatment he had prescribed for me concerning a fractured tibia bone of my leg. I told him I got up to ten miles on my mended leg. He fixed my leg over 20 years ago and it was still working fine. What do you think we as children of God being healed in heaven going to be saying to Jesus after 20 years or even 100 years. I will still be walking and talking and praising Jesus for all He have done, what about you. The doctor only fix a leg what well I do when Jesus wipes away all the tears from my eyes. A friend, or a parent might be drying those tears now but these are the tears of our soul hidden in our soul that only Jesus can wipe away away. Jesus is the only healer of our entire being.

God becomes our eternal healer of our soul through the demonstration of his love through his Son Jesus and the gift of the Holy Spirit. When God does our final healing for all that believe in him. He takes us as believers with tender mercies and crowns us, as his sons and daughters. Removing us out of the pit of destruction.

God feeds us with good food so that in our youth we are renewed like an eagle and we do not grow weary. Why dont we loose strength again because he heals not only our soul, but he removes the barriers that keep us from running the race of faith that slows us down. When Christ died on the cross and was buried, God his angels to roll away the barrier between Jesus and disciples and the found Jesus had already risen and left the grave. Jewish elders found the vail torn in the Temple. God remove the barrier that destroyed hope. With that hope our tears flow because Christ removed the barrier called sin and God reunited us with our Savior and His Spirit when we believe. We have a duty to believe, and to obey his word.

Dear Heavenly Father thanking you for the continual healing work you done in our life from spiritual, soul, mind, heart and body, In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: Isaiah 25:8-9 KJV
8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Isaiah 40:28-31 KJV
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Luke 24:2 KJV
2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

Revelation 7:14-17 KJV
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Revelation 21:4-7 KJV
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
