Predestine Justified
10/26/2022

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Romans 8:30-39 KJV
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

This morning are you predestinated by God? Are you saved washed in the blood of Christ, are you covered in his blood. Are you washed white as snow this morning. Are you cleansed with saving blood of the lamb? Most might say if you not believer this sounds gross. However when the blood is applied to our sin, it washes us white as snow. Not in the flesh but in our spirit we are no longer dirty by our sin. This cleanses because Christ death on the cross saved us from our sins and the wrath of God. Application the blood lost from the beating, the cross must be applied to our own sin and not the sin of those that day that crucified our Lord. Christ died for the sins of the world. Those that believe are then predestine to be children of God for eternity. There is no more condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. There is no more judgment because justified by Christ. The blood application is figurative but it explains much of what the lamb, goats and calves purpose for sin offering in the Old Testament was suppose to do but could not. Christ is the only one that can redeem us. The Lamb and the goat were sacrificed yearly but Christ sacrifice purged us from all sin once and for all. Remember the first Adam caused the sin of the world the second Adam took away the sins of the world. Christ being the second Adam, not born of heaven but of earth, by the word from heaven. Heaven been perfect and earth being imperfect. Adam being born of imperfection in which God made the earth. Meaning the things of this earth are not God nor is heaven, but God is perfect. God holiness is maintained in heaven by the purging of sin like Adam and Eve's sin from any and all that rise up against God. Yet we are justified by faith not by works; "For by grace we are saved by grace; and not of ourselves: it is a free gift of God. Not of works, should any man boast(Ephesians 2:8,9)".

One of the greatest gifts is God's grace. What is God's grace, we talked about it some yesterday, that bestowed on the world. God's wrath only coming to children of disobedience. Yet some seem to do okay without worship of God. Yet they are not justified by faith in Christ Jesus. What will separate the none believer from the love of God famine, war, none of these things. However Hell well, the decision to not believe, the final judgment of unbelief, the final judgment of fiery torment. What separates us from the love of God is our unbelief and not our sin. Adam and Eve sin did not stop God from loving them. It only got Adam and Eve cast out of their paradise home. Giving them a life on earth to face the reality of their sin in their life, having to deal with their act of disobedience when eating forbidden fruit. Facing the outcome of the knowledge of good and evil that would plague them upon the earth as their first son was killed and their second son, was outcasted from the sight of God.

The pain of sin etched in man's heart with the knowledge of the reality of God, and yet Eve still praised God when she gave birth. That being the place of the relationship with God not destroyed, only with the facing of consequences of sin got us paradise loss. Most of us never get it. The new Jerusalem coming out of heaven, is not heaven, it the place God has perpared for his people of faith. We all say we going to heaven, but in reality we going to the place God created for us the New Jerusalem that will come with Christ, and comes with eternity with Christ, because we believed in Jesus. Nothing will separate us from God but faith in Jesus separate us from hell, and the devil. Devil will have no power in the new jerusalem. Only the power of God will be presence with God and Christ Jesus reigning on the thrown and being a light to us in the day and night.

Nothing will separate the believers of faith, but we are not to live in sin, but to strive to live for Jesus. To be the best people we can not by our power but the power God in all circumstances that see the heart of all people. When we can understand by our power, when we can not perceive the real nature of the problem, God sees the truth of the situation. God love for us if we follow his Spirit given to us on faith in Christ Jesus, we walk in his instruction, our ways will be purified and glorified in heaven and on earth, not by works of our power but the power of God.

Dear Heavenly Father, put our predestination on the front line of the reality of the value of faith. Put your grace in the full picture to the world, that your love is there for them, even in their disbelief. That you love them and you hand is extended to forgive them for sin of unbelief against you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: Hebrews 9:9-15 KJV
9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
