Keeping Coffee On The Back Of The Stove
10/05/2022

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Leviticus 6:8-13 KJV
8 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
9 Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.
10 And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
11 And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
12 And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

The back of the stove in the kitchen where the pot of coffee is being kept fresh and warm, the pot of the coffee a light to those that drink coffee. Coffee is the staple of society. Something many if they had to live without would rather eat rat burger then miss their coffee in the morning. Okay maybe that is to an extreme, but it gets the point across, that God's word should be that important to your life. That you want the cup of God burning in your heart continually. The altar in the wilderness and then in Jerusalem was to be kept burning 24/7 for the people of Israel. Reminding them of God, it was not God, and God was not in the flames, but the flames were example of God receiving his gift of repentance, the, sacrifices and/first fruits offering, and the peace offering. God had his Son Jesus sacrificed by man's law. The payment for sin because Christ repented not for sin, because of who he was, he knew no sin. Yet the sin that got him beaten was the law of man, and not the law of God. God continually before him, his faith in the assurance of God, but not in the laws of man.

God in us, and hope of faith in God's grace in us continual, came by the shadow of the law. God breathed the breath of God in Adam, giving him life. God's breath continual in man. Eve was form who gave her soul to her, scripture actually does not declare it but we know the God's breath gave woman a living soul because her body came from the rib of Adam, made where in the garden by God. God's breath is the part of man that declares whose child one should be and might not be. Yet to be born again by God's Spirit who must breath the eternal hope into the soul for everlasting life, but in order to receive the seal of God that one is born by Spirit must receive his eternal gift of his Son, who taught man the way to live on earth and even the way to die. His Spirit who comes and communes with us that believe, and reminds us that we are his child by faith in his Son. The continual altar of faith burning in our soul by the Holy Spirit, who guides us and teaches us all things if we will listen and commune with him. Any sin against God will be forgiven but the blasphyme of his Spirit is eternal sin. We need his Spirit to teach us about living for Jesus. His Spirit to correct our sin. When Adam and Eve rejected God's command, they sinned, but their sin casting them out of paradise, but not out of relationship with God. The things of this world like the continual flame on the altar would remind Israel of God but the flame itself was not God. Our reminder upon salvation in Christ Jesus of the need no more sacrifice for sin, for Christ paid it all. The continual Holy Spirit guiding us will come with obedience to God. Are well willing to obey God despite the laws of man. Are willing to obey God and obey the law of man unless it breaks God's law of faith? Is our freedom of faith more important then the subjection to faith in man. I gave up on man a long time ago. Our sin against God burned up and destroyed with the cross of Jesus. His cross of obedience to God over man law's. Christ paid more then he ever should have even for the law of man.

What am i saying we break the law of man to obey God only when comes to believing in God. Man would rather have us trust him, then God, and yet God never fails us. The law of faith is absolute and science/man is finite in theory only. What does that mean we obey the law cut off our hand if steal or pay for the goods taken. That is the point. We obey God and obey the law of man to buy what we put in our cart. If I obeyed my husband I been a breaker of the law outside the store. Yet with knowledge I went into the store bought the item and obey the law of man. God's law tells us not to steal and yet Paul said he stole from the church. I have to ask how much of our language or ideas are all messed up when it comes to scripture. Paul only took what the church provided for his journey of missionary work. He needed food, clothing for survival. David taking the shewbread with his soldiers was only taking what was necessary to be productive for the king and yet the king killed the priest no understanding David was on his side. David had to cut the cloak in the shelter of the cave to prove his loyalty of his ability to kill the king, yet would never harm him bodily. KIng Saul's jealousy caused his sin of murder, and even resentment to the one that gave David supplies. Saul's jealousy was dangerous. David desire peace with the king and the government. He protect even the soldiers who guarded Saul that night inside the cave by killing no one.

God's continual flame burning in the heart of King David a shadow of things coming for all believers. A shadow of things to be for man. Every time man rejects God, it can be forgiven but to reject from your soul, is death, to reject him from your life altogether is lost of all hope of eternal life. God wants you in Sweet Beulah land, but if you do not want it, that your choice to face the eternal flames of fire into everlasting torment. The judgment of God for eternity. Your life without God will not breath hope and not hope of a life better in the world to come. It bring death not life into your soul. Choose God today and accept Christ and Savior and breath the eternal hope into your life, that is well tested and safe and is known to be secure by all believer past and present.

Dear Heavenly Father put a burning in my heart of your Spirit to know the promise of eternal hope, because you are eternal. Your flame continues to burn in the hearts of all believers. The flame of hope went out with the exile, no one understanding God did not forsake them, but delivered them into enemies camp. A place not of God or hope of eternal life. Yet the remnant of God's people burned with the eternal hope of faith. Seventy years before they seen their return to Israel. Let us never forget that your Son came to set the world on fire in faith in you and in Him, through the resurrection of the eternal hope of man. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: Hebrews 10:1-22 KJV
1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. 18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
