1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.
11 And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.
12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.
13 And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.
14 And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)
15 Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There are several things to note about the second big revival in scripture. God first would cause a fear of his Spirit on the people. Ananias and Sapphira, apparently had changed there mind about what they would give to God concerning a piece of land once they received maybe even higher price then first realize they would get. However the thing one must understand is this was like a promise to God of something they had plan to give to God. They broke there promise to God and kept a portion of the money from the sale of the land. When they went to the apostles to lay the gift at the feet of them, the Apostle Peter address the lie by the power of the Holy Spirit. Ananias and Sapphira both denied it and both died, because God struck them dead. The fear that swept over the people, but because of the signs and wonders that came by the Holy Spirit through the hands of the Apostles a revival broke out even more and the people were in one accord on King Solomon's porch. More people came to believe in the Lord and more miracles occured. Not only more miracles but people brought people that were in need hoping that Peter's shadow would fall on them.
The move of the Spirit does several things causes fear and signs and wonders to occur. One is looking for revival of the Holy Spirit, then one is looking for a great deliverance of some kind, either health or spiritual in the land. The little revivals were the heart is pricked is a tiny beginning of the fire that the Lord wants to do in the lives of the believers in any area He moves in. There is a song called Pass It On. In the song it says it only takes a spark to get a fire going. In truth it only takes the Holy Spirit of God to begin a revival that will not only send a fear across our nation, but begin a revival never seen the likes of before The biggest revivals comes with the Holy Spirit is allowed and not restricted. How can one restrict God. One truly can not, but God does not always move where he is not wanted. He does not always testify of His power if people do not desire to know Him, desire not to turn from sin, desire not to hear the call of the revival to the hearts of mankind. The revival can start with one repentance and turn to a multitude of change. Ananais and Sapphira had no fear of God and so their life was taken. What they thought they could take from God they could not. You can not steal from God. God even kills thieves. Bible speaks of the crime of thievry being worthy of death in one place, but in another only the hand that stole is cut off. Point being a crime against God is worthy of death. All sin is worthy of death. The knowledge of the value of our sin is death, is enough to ignite a fire of repentance when God shows people his mercy and grace through signs and wonders. They know if God is healing, God is able to forgive. If God willing to heal you, God is willing to forgive you.
Don't tell people their sins are not forgiven if God hasn't healed them. It sure sounds like i just said that. No this is what I mean by it, it a reference to Jesus teaching the pharisees about forgiveness. How hard is it to tell a man to get up and walk then to say your sins are forgiven. It has to do with faith of the Pharisees. Do you believe enough to say get up and walk, most of us don't have that kind of faith though we have the faith to believe our sins are forgiven because some of us only see this small load of dirt pile in our life compare to others. Oh that is mistake right there, all our dirt piles look the same, our sin is all the same in the eyes of God, it is disobedience to him. Why are some people not healed when prayed for. My conclusion is the blind man wasn't healed for fifty years, maybe it just not God's timing or maybe it is a lack of faith.Maybe God wants to have Christ wipe your tears at the fountain of life for your healing. Whatever the reason God has an answer. The revival and wonders in heaven will be greater then the miracles on this earth. The revival of the spirit of seeing heaven will be enough to set a shouting through the gates, I am finally home and is it suppertime. That is the question when will God healed, not if He has the power to do so. The healing for sin is immediately, but God's healing is sometimes a course of learning. Our turning away from sin is not always instant, but the course to turn away begins with the admitting something is wrong. You can not turn from sin until you admit there is a problem. Not admitting it can take you out of this world like Ananias and Sapphira. Think for a moment why deny the sin, admit it and ask God to bring you to the place you no longer desire that sin in your life.
Sometimes repentance or turning from sin is like going through the closet and having a garabage bag or box that says I do not need this, and it goes out with the box or bag never to be seen again. Sometimes our sin is in the closet and we clean out the closet only to return the item to the closet to only pull it out when we have desire for it. Sin might be locked away but is it removed. Sin might be removed but did you leave the evidence in the closet. Smokers get lung cancer even if they stop smoking. The evidence remaining in their lungs for a long time. No way of removing the evidence. Sin can be like that tar and nicotene that remains long past the removal of the cigarette. The habit might be gone but the scars and wounds remain. God has to remove the scars and the wounds of sin. Heart disease same way the arteries clog up from a life of crazy eating habits and sometimes even good eating habits. Yet there is procedure that can unclog arteries, but only if it going to cause heart failure. The wounds and scars of sin sometimes do not get remove in life until God removes them through healing process. It not always enough to know God has forgiven, one also has to be able to forgive and move on in one's life.
First course of action is to recognize sin and then allow God to do the inner healing process of the soul, spirit and mind, though your heart is instantly cleaned, the scars might remain for a time. Our earthly bodies is evidence of the road of sin as it decays. Why because in heaven we are given a new body to house the soul. A new body like Christ. Revival in heaven going to be grand when you think of the healing of spirit mind and body. Yet the change will not happen until it time to go home for somethings. The healing from repentance is immediately. Our sin is covered by Christ blood, no longer seen by God. It is vail between us and God. It is a vail that is place in the sea of forgetfulness never to return, but remanents of sin remains often in the closet, that has to be tossed in the sea too. Do not hold to the sin in the closet, remove it. God wanting you to fall and spring clean those things not of Him, so he can place in all the good stuff he has waiting outside the closet for your life to use for his glory and honor.
There is a point revival begins with the heart, and continues with the signs and wonders of revival, that fans the flames of faith. The revival in Acts 5 was flamed first with signs and wonders of Acts 2 and continues when fear struck the people and then revival continued with signs and wonders. We need the fire of the winnowing fork as well, the purging of the people by the word of God. The purging of sin from the people caused by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. We need the Spirit of the Lord to blow across our land as the wheat is cleansed for use. We need the revival not to end. Are you prepared for the fire of the Holy Spirit to purge our land of sin.
Dear Heavenly Father purge our hearts and minds of sin, and bring healing to our soul. Help us to throw the evidence of sin away and allow you to fill us with your gifts of your Spirit for your service. May that revival begin in me Lord and continue in the hearts of individuals as you move upon our land. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
