Hebrews 1:1-8 KJV
(1) God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
(2) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
(3) Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
(4) Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
(5) For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
(6) And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
(7) And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
(8) But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

This morning I have a confession I started writing two other times on two other topics. Yet even so I think it time to discuss angels instead. Angels are said to talk to people and how do you know the difference of a spirit of divination and angel of God. After all Satan once was consider angel of God until he was cast out for making himself equal to God. People love the idea of guardian angel, but no one consider the angels of darkness being real, only the angels of heaven who worship God. Angels not men or ministers in human nature, but makes his angels spirits. Spirits. Not spirits of devil, but spirits in service to God for God’s glorification.

Angels are not meant to be worshipped. Yet people bow to them. They have no power but what God gives them the authority to do. They represent the power of God and yet they themselves only have the power to do as God directs. God sent his angel Gabrielle to speak to Daniel, to Mary, and to Zacharias. An angel with a message of good tidings of great joy. Was Gabrielle with the angels that appeared before shepherds we do not know, but we know they sang about the lord. John spoke to angel and even bowed to angel and was told not to bow or worship the angel. Jesus was above all the angels, and was made lower then the angels to be raised up to sit on the right hand of God.

If an angel speaks to you make sure it is of God. For even Satan will tempt you and try you but can only do so with permission from God and he is not angel of light but is disguised as angel of light.

How does one know who God’s true angels are? A true angel of God is not going to tempt you to sin. Is going to bring you a message from God for the purpose of spreading truth and hope. Helping in times of trouble, like shutting the mouths of lions.

Dear Heavenly Father may we bow and worship you knowing you send your ministering spirits are your servants. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
