Isaiah 6:1-8 KJV
(1) In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
(2) Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
(3) And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
(4) And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
(5) Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
(6) Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
(7) And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
(8) Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

The purging of a nation sin must begin with a person that is guilty of sin and has been forgiven. Until you know the power of forgiveness you can not tell another. You might say repent and be healed, but those words lack the power of someone who has not been there and done that. There will be place you and I will never be able to share the Gospel in, unless they be open to hear, because we never had that sin in our life. An others do not need that comparison of sin, but need that knowledge that their sin is no worse then anyone else’s and can be healed from that sin. Isaiah vision of before the Lord caused immediately repentance in his heart. The first sin that caused distress was his unclean lips. Immediately the angel of the Lord touch his lips with a hot coal and said your sins are forgiven. I often wonder did that hot coal blister the lip or brand them as to be marked as forgiven. Though it be a vision did the event leave a scar as a reminder. No one knows. Yet we know despite his unclean lips he had a vision and visitation from the Lord.

Are we worthy of being in the presence of God, yet we all stand before him for He is everywhere. Yet the reality of his presence is not always felt or understood. He is before us as He pricks our hearts and convicts us of sin. Yet we stand not with our lips seared by hot coal but with filthy rags before our Lord. Yet none that repent has ever not understood the power of God’s forgiveness. For God to prick our hearts is to have His holiness speaking directly to our hearts, and bowing to His presence and conviction of guilt of our unworthiness to have God speak to us because of His Holiness.

How many people in years gone by has seen those ministers on TV only hoping that one would call out their disease and be healed of whatever is ailing them. Sounds silly untell you so sick and tired of being sick that your desperation is the need to be healed and have a word spoken from the Lord through someone as a sign or proof of healing. Yet to feel unworthy that you can no longer pray to God for your own healing is only a testimony of how far you have gone from the ways of God. Yet I am not saying sit and never ask for prayer from a minister or church. I talking about being at a point of sin where you feel it is impossible to reach up to God yourself. The sin of Simeon in Acts 8 was like that. His sin against the Holy Spirit thinking he could buy the power of God. He asked Peter and John to pray for him.

Isaiah despite his sin found himself in the presence of God almighty and it lead to him to repent. Forgiveness found with the branding of the coal to His lips. Israel sin of unclean lips was before the Lord and yet Isaiah found forgiveness and Israel could find it too if only someone would go and tell them to repent. Isaiah could not refuse to go nor was he asked directly, but in the presence of God the question was being ask who will go and tell Israel. In the story of Lazarus and the rich man who found himself in hell found no one to go for him to tell his family about the consequences of sin. Yet in heaven the opposite is occurring, who will go. Not a question of can someone go, but who willing to go and tell. The rich man found himself with unclean lips but no searing coal to heal his sin. No forgiveness once reach the gates of hell. No forgiveness or request granted after hell. God no longer will heed your call though apparently there those that could speak to those on the other side. The day of judgment as the wrath of God comes, and his people are taken up to meet his Son in the air, will those left behind call out take me with you. Yet it is only God that can forgive sin. God has said the day of judgment is for the sinner.

No one wants to find themselves without forgiveness on the day of judgment, yet some have gone to church and refused to repentant and receive the forgiveness through Christ Jesus and died, the chance of forgiveness refused. Then there others who have gone to church and received forgiveness upon repentance. Do not pass by the opportunity to seek forgiveness, it only takes a quick confession of sin and unworthiness to be in the presence of God. God is the one that convicts your heart and Christ is the one that seals you with the Holy Spirit that you are a child of God. Yet there plenty that need to hear their sins to can be forgiven. They need to know that all they have to do is confess.

Dear Heavenly Father as I stand in your presence this very hour, I ask your forgiveness for sin. I understand Christ died for my sin and gave us reassurance of forgiveness through his resurrection.. I receive the seal of the Holy Spirit upon forgiveness of my sin upon my confession. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
