What is the day after thanksgiving like. There is always a time of rejoicing and time of labor. Many americans will go out to shop today in celebration of the first day of the shopping season for Christmas. Though some shop start earlier then today, it is the beginning or announcement to begin the Christmas season of commercialism and properity of gold, though many stores have already have things up two months in advance, they begin to target their Christmas shoppers with all kinds of sales. The sales papers come and the sales papers are taken out and thrown in the garbage or tossed in the fire place. All the joy of thanksgiving is then destroyed with the biggest shopping day of the year with anger, and frustration of not getting those things one wants or desires to buy for a love one so dear, because the person in front of you got the last one. Some way some how the joy of Christmas will some how arrives by December 25 th right in time for Christmas. The joy and celebration begins once more only to be shoved away in the corner once more. What is occuring is the natural process of life of joy and continual process of continuing life as it once was as if celebration was truly now over or never fully come.
Our salvation comes like lightening to our soul upon receiving Christ as Lord and Savior and the joy of being saved continues on until the day of rapture and the reality when the horror of God's wrath comes to the world. Noah a man of righteousness preached for 100 years while he built the ark about the flood coming only to see the salvation of his family. The pain and joy of salvation came with knowledge so many people were lost, and yet at the same time the joy of Noah came with survival because he had believed God and received the promise of hope. None of us want to see one family member or friend lost if they themselves are saved. The joy of Noah knowing his righteousness through faith in God had saved him and given him protection against final destruction of the earth in his day. Take time to read I Peter 3:18-22 in the Continual Scripture study below.
What is salvation what is the joy of salvation and why does the joy for ourselves last, but the feeling of frustration of those that are lost believe not. Our hope and prayer is that all will be saved, yet we know God's wrath like in the days of Noah will come. Noah a preacher of righteousness seen not death til the end of his time, His Sons and daughter in laws brought forth the next generation that would fill the earth with people of many nationailites. The world became grandchildren and offspring of a man of righteousness through faith in God and his Word. Telling of the story of Noah was handed down through the age. Telling how God's Spirit sealed the door shut for Noah's own protection especially as the rain began to pour and the people began to pound on the outside of the ark. The world of sin was destroyed and the beginning of life began once more. This story lasted for centuries of the devastion of one flood because of sin and how God desire to save man but could only find one just man upon the earth.
What does man do, they take the most righteous man and crucify him burying the righteousness of God. Not understanding God was burying the sin of the world through His Son. That third day came with quake and a stone rolled away by the angels of heaven. God declared you can only bury sin, you can not bury righteousness or faith, nor my beloved Son. Jesus was crucifed outside the gate, meaning he was crucified outside the city of Jerusalem. He was buried outside the camp. Back in the time tabernacle, the sacrifice and blood was burned outside the camp and time of the temple the sacrifice waste was burned outside the city. That is why blood on the door post at the time of Egypt protected Israel. Why was the passover feast so important at the time of the Pharaoh in Egypt, The door covered by the lambs blood and feasting within the house while God killed all the new borns of Egypt? God put Israel within the ark of safety their homes while the last of the plagues occured, the protection of God declared as the death angel pass by the children of Israel, but never came through their doors.
God protection on his people on those He chooses to protect must also come with obedience to Him. When Christ arose he spoke to his disciples to teach and to preach to all nations the things that He had commanded them and to baptize the world in the knowledge of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Tell the world about them, so that the world might be saved. With the preaching came persecution. People dying for good and not evil. This still happens today. Evil rises and destroys those meaning good. The unjustice of the world is seen until the coming of the Lord once more. Can we find salvation, can we find hope, Is our purity in Christ be found, or is our garments spotted, because of our desire to remain upon the earth. Are we sacrifice our faith as the Priesthood and Roman government did in regards of crucifying Israel King/Messiah. Are we going with the crowd to protect ourselves only to realize we are forgetting the power of God to raise the dead. If God has put his seal on us why are we afraid of death to come, if we know our resurrection will happen. Why is life on this earth more important then the spread of the Gospel. Are we what some would call yellow, or chicken.
Evil rises and yet our life is only vapor upon this earth, we trade this earth for a new home in glory and a new home for eternity that is a new heaven and a new earth. Why when evil rises do we fail to see the truth of good men being persecuted because the truth is we fail to stand for righteousness instead for wealth. Yet truth is not always not honor in the world of sin, nor do the righteous on earth always win in regards to how the evil world left behind see it. When evil arise to the height of heaven God destroys it. He will not let evil remain in power, or in life of this earth. Evil reach heaven and only eight were spared. Righteousness came to man for man to destory it, but man could not keep Christ in the ground. God spared eight, how many will spare when it time for Christ to return?
I knew a man story that died in faith that spoke though he could not talk, he still moved his lips in praise. A testimony to the believer of whether in long life or short we need to live, with praise of God on our lips. How hard it is to have the praise of God on our lips when one feeling the pressures of this world upon their shoulders. Yet in truth the praise of God should be on all our lips, because we know that pressure only means our home in glory is just in sight. We must decide what faith truly is to ourselves, is just a get out of hell card, or is it what we will share until eternity comes with Christ appearance or our death.
It easy to go into building of worship, but harder to come out and sing the praise of God, why should it be. Israel went the next day right out of Egypt rejoicing they were going to worship God outside the Pharaoh's land and return home to the promise land. The trip to long they turn to idol, only to be killed if they stood not for God. Then we see something happening man never stopped turning to false hope, because God in their opinion response was not quick enough. We must hold to the hope of our faith that is God's will, will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Noah knew what a new beginning looked like, but he knew not without faith for a long time what that day would look like. We know not or understand what the next day of Christ return will fully look like but we understand it will not be like the day before. We know the celebration will not end for God is within the camp once more.
Dear Heavenly Father, we wait for your Son's return, only because we know our very salvation comes with faith of His return. Help us to hold on to the hope set before us, knowing salvation was testified through the cross of Christ and his resurrection. Thank you that righteousness come through faith, in you, your plan, your Word, Your Son and belief in your Spirit. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
