Bewilderment To Be Straighten

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Proverbs 30:1-33 KJV
1 The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,
2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.
3 I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.
4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?
5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
7 Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:
8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

Agur, Jakeh, Ithiel and Ucal are all thought to be names for Solomon. More of Solomon teaching himself the proverbs from God and the Son of God. We see a bewilder Solomon on the concept of who is God, and that he is the shield to them that put their trust in him. He understands God is a reprove of sin. Yet he bewilder because he seems to have no knowledge of holy or had learned wisdom. Yet he understands certain key principals about God as reprover, knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge of God's son, not just him as son of God/child of God, but an eternal Son of God that been with God from the beginning, who is Jesus. He knows not God's Son name or if he has one, but he knows he gathers the winds with his fist, bound the waters in a garment and established the ends of the earth. He understands the power of the word of God that does all these things. He knows that Christ the word of God is God's Son.

Solomon is going through a period of confusion, because he sees the Lord's way is to be trusted. Solomon confusion is like any man or woman struggling with faith and ideas of faith. It easy to believe in a Creator but can one only worship him and obey his word, or does one seek the gods of sin that only has power of seduction, foolishness, dishonorment, and even evil. How old was Solomon and was he thinking back to his learning or to his educationing of himself to the things of the world. He became king at a young age, he was still very much by our standards a child but adult by Jewish standards. Yet he became king and was growing up into adulthood and one thing he knew he needed was the wisdom of God to lead the people, however he had not known he needed the wisdom of God to rule his life as well.

10 Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty.
11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

One thing about freedom and one thing about Memorial Day weekend, God's tears flow this weekend sending rain every year for those that died. I have never seen a Memorial day weekend without rain. If this is God's expression of his sorrow perhaps we should ask why. Prehaps God would say that freedom is what he believes is worth fighting for but it cost our soldiers their freedom on this earth as they fight our battles and loose lives and sacrifice their bodies and minds.

True freedom rings, but it only rings when men like Hitler, and Stalin government forces are destroyed. When evil men destroy the poor, destroy the old and destroy babies, destroy religion, destroy color of skin we have to ask what happening in our world by leaders that rise and fall over time, and yet these evil men are studied as if the world needs to understand their principals of hate. Hate is hate. Every so many generations hate arise and then it falls. During this time period of this rise of evil leader we also see the failings of humanity that become so entailed with evil. One can not blame just the king or ruler of his own depravity, we must look into the demoralization of society. The things rulers must check into and then they too sometimes desire. The gladiator mentality of gore and blood, to what seems harmless fun, that only leads to illness and death. Many things the poor will do for a buck, hoping they will survive and seldom do they survive.

We all need to fight for the freedom of true freedom of good morality that protects all people and all generations. The rules of freedom need to be applied to all and not just a few. When is morality and clean living not in vogue, only when the harlot cries for more sin, and thief cries for more gold that is not his. When does hate become a problem, when it targets one group of people and not the actual problem. In the seventies black people were seen as rioters and trouble makers by the news. Yet if you labeled all rioters as being black, then there be no peaceful educated blacks in our land or sitting and drinking coffee going about their daily business. We must be careful not to label people by race, by creed, education, or even religion and let's not the color of their eyes and hair. There good in all groups of people and their evil in everyone. Those that take true freedom from other based on differences is the one that truly hates, because they just not what true evil is. If we fight for freedom we look to band the evil of our own land.

15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:
16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.
17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
18 There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
19 The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.
20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.
21 For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:
22 For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat;
23 For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.

Those who evil look and say what evil have I done. Religious right can explain why the immorality is wrong, but it makes no sense to one who lives in adultery. You can tell a woman living in adultery that she is breaking up a family, no she did not break it up the man who cheated was the one that did that, unless the adultress woman pursued the man, but the man still made a choice to sin. The thief with the compliance, the child that makes another child fight him because of bullying, and the one that fails to see the blood and gore not something to mock. The parents that are mocked by their children why are they mocked, because they never correct and enforced their rules on their children. They attitude you won't punish me and the attitude, your punishment has little value. The child who does not appreciate the roof over his head or the food on the table.

Evil of a generation that no longers respects traditions or the things of God much less rules and government is a downfall of society. If nothing but a pandemic to put the world from chaos of evil kids to good kids that follow the rules. Parents having to make their kids mind and get and education from going to school online. A different way of doing things, but did it open the parents eyes, I believe it did for some and for others they were as bad as their children.

24 There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;
28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.
29 There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:
30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;
31 A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.
32 If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.

The little things on the earth that got Solomon attention were the ants though not strong still prepared for winter, the conies/rock badger builds his house in the rocks, locusts have no leaders but they all travel in a legend, spiders grab things with their hands and even live in the palace. Basic principal everyone has the ability to do something somewhere or somehow? Not always, some lay lifeless in bed, some people walk with pain unseeable. The look on my husband face with his dog is priceless to me, because I had not seen him smile like that in a long time. Pain often effects his body, to the point of learning to concentrate on something else is the only solution. I think to myself, how does one learn to care fore oneself in pain, I did it for fourteen years, now I wrestle with fatigue and last night I got the best sleep in many days.

What is my point, Solomon is looking at the depraived of two worlds, The world of God and the world of man. Depravity of God's world? No God's world is perfect, but the world that people form of faith can build leaders that only see one side of things and that is the world without God and a world with God. People becoming lofty in thinking that they can not see the value of what they teach about God. They become become their own bigots and their own hyprocrisy. Truly never allowing people to change and repenting, only demanding that others do just that. Never understanding God's true power to change individual and teaching that God has the power to change people and that prayer is a tool to use. Seeing a soul that matters and not one that needs to be only destroyed. Yet the religious right is charitable helping the poor, and giving to the needy.

The other group only sees their ways as right, sin being correct in their own eyes, not caring if their destructiveness damages another. Nor if their way is productive for long life of their people. Cannibals never see what they do destroys their own people and other tribes of people. Those that seek violence never consider those they harm, whether they are good or evil, unless they never draw a sword but to protect the innocent.

Solomon seeing how evil people thinks about their own evil. Prehaps he looked at the idolatry of his land and seen the sacrifice of his children, maybe he seen the one that would lure him into their bed, never caring about the other women. Maybe Solomon began to seek God on the things he seen in the religious realm of caring of others, the love of others, and the hope of the poor and rich in the religious world, only to find hyprocrisy was also there.

Then Solomon finds true wisdom, that God is true, his wisdom and knowledge is needed and is superior to the forces he sees upon the earth of man. He sees a need of God and salvation through his word. Solomon perhaps born again by true faith and not the faith of religion, or worldly desires anymore. The true wisdom that comes only from God and not man. World laws for all and the relgious law for the believer are only a guide to live by, but it does not trump the spiritual aspect of faith in God alone and that personal relationship Solomon found when meeting God's Son and his power.

Dear Heavenly Father, you reveal your power to the people and they run and put their own mediator between you and them, never knowing if that mediator is of you, or the world. Let us strive for that personal relationship with you. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: 1 Timothy 2:1-6 KJV
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
