No matter the time or the season of our nation or the nations of the world we often look at a battle as being with hands of war and not the hand of God. I wrestle today because Memorial Day is a Federal Holiday and not one we are celebrating this year on the site, because my focus this year is not about holidays that mark our seasons, but the sole dedication to God and his time. Faith in God has nothing to do with none religious celebration. Our nation is not just Christianity, especially in today's world. I put a flag on my site on the home page until all our soldiers come home. Yet this site is not about political soldier, the military, those serving our country in many ways. Memorial itself is only a reminder of those that lost their lives for our country and not our faith necessarily.

Our individual life can not be defined by a generation of unbelievers and believers. Nor reason for standing up and declare war for different reasons. It must be more defined is if our generation is moved by God's Spirit. The point being is God moving our nation, our world into unity toward him or towards a fall of demonstrating His power has more authority then us alone. To know God uses heathens, and people of faith to do his will and to demonstrate his power, then we only are able to sit back and ask who side are each of us on. We can only see our own vanity, by how our desires and greed of either money, or popularity runs our attitude and actions.

If we allow ourselves to think God only uses believers we sadly mistaken and if we think God never uses the enemy to bring his point across we be sadly mistaken. Yet those who have followed after the ways of God not out of force or by being the evil that rises up, will define our nations attitude foward God and for God. The war from above is about spiritual choices. God does not exempt anyone from the troubles from his display of power.

When I think of Corona virus, it has not exemptions of who it affects, it only has exemption of how we reponse in faith or unfaith to the trouble in our world. What do I mean. Everyday is a new day that we either choose to follow in the ways of God for the safety of all humanity, or we follow after the ways of destruction. Yet faith is defined by belief and not by following God's ways. To believe God is to say God's word is take able to the bank, Devil will take God's word to the bank not because he trust in God because he is a gambler who knows God's word is true. If the devil knows that destruction coming how many people do you think he will try and deceive to make destruction happen. Let us look at the story of Jonah and his ministry of preaching to Nineveh. It only took Jonah preaching to turn the hearts of Nineveh by the power of God. Yet Nineveh would eventually fall because of unbelief. We can have biggest revival because of COV-19 or we can have the biggest time of building faith in God.

God may not destroy today but will he destroy in the end the answer is yes and that is the gamble we are all looking at that the devil is making sport of us about. See Cov 19 has brought many to their knees, but it does not keep them on their knees. What is the church going to do but battle on with God and his word. Explaining why that relationship with God is so important to global health of our world, or are we going to talk how God changes our individual life for the better when we trust in him as Lord and Savior of our life. If we want to gamble with the devil, we will only deceive ourselves. If we gamble with God, we are not only say God's words is true, but what he says he will do. God told Adam not to eat the fruit in the garden and the serpent says go ahead you won't die. The first gamble that the serpent took was deceiving Eve who then convinced Adam to eat of the fruit because it tasted good and nothing bad seemed to happen, until God came searching for Adam and Eve.

Are we playing with God's word that dong the right thing means everything is going to be alright, or are we taking God's word to the bank, and believing in faith that if we want to be saved we have to believe in Christ, and believe in his word that what he says is true. The devil wants to say you saved by grace, but never tells you, that you need to follow and obey God. Devil is trying to deceive you and take your straight to hell. If you think it okay to live how you want that is deception of the devil. If you think your works has no value, it testify of whether you care for others. If you drink or do drugs you self center and only thinking about yourself. What can you do why drunk and high for someone else. Make them laugh maybe, no not even that if the person cares about you.

To obey God is love and love is of God and the world is constantly cares very little about each other. So if Cov 19 makes us more aware of others and not just our own protection but protection of others with social distancing, wearing mask, and staying home when one is sick, we made our world a little cleaner, or a little healthier? Yet even heathens do these things and tell you, I can care without God, only to not care until things get tough and hard as nails and need God.

Who is God but the king of Glory who made heaven and earth, and he knows what the earth is made of and how to heal it and how to destroy it. The devil knows only how to deceive. He made nothing and only exalts the tools of power by showing his handy work of steel, motar, and brick, never consider God can destroy it all in a day. No one ever imagined a plane taking out twin towers but it did. Steel metaled with fire. Has my husband cut a metal pipe the other day, i noticed the saw blade shrinking. Then i realize steel was sharpening the blade though it be cutting through the steel making it whittle away. Steel need steel to cut, but it also destroyed itself. Devil needs you to destroy, God needs only his word to glorify not only himself but his power by His Spirit. His Spirit fall on his people and God begins to heal through his Spirit by his word, and begins to prophesy what will be. His word comes to pass and those with doubts faith will be made stronger. People of faith need not the building of power to know the spirit of God is working in the world today. We only need to listen to His Spirit to know what is happening in the world around us. Not many us are quiet enough to listen or trusting enough to hear and know God's Spirit. Steel only destroys itself. Devil may appear strong but it is relying on steel to sharpen only to slowly destroy itself, instead of trusting God to strengthen his people.

What does this mean, God's power is strong, his weapon of warfar is His Spirit and He created all things. Devil takes a bet and say God not going to hurt you only for you not to see the devil does not see what lays ahead for his disobedience and destruction though he has been warned. That my friends means destruction to satan to those that head not the warnings of God it also means destruction for you.

Dear Heavenly Father, remind us the battle is not ours because you are the King of glory and know that devil will only destroy himself in the end with is disobedience and will drag others with him, because of unbelief. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

1 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
2 And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.
3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;
4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.
5 For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.
6 And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.
7 And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD because of the Midianites,
8 That the LORD sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;
9 And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;
10 And I said unto you, I am the LORD your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice.
11 And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.
12 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.
13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
14 And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
15 And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.
16 And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.
