Rejoicing Over The Church
5/8/2020

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

Isaiah 62:1-12 KJV
1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
6 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
8 The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

The unknown the suprise of what lays ahead causes one to be a virgin or unknowning of the reality of what will be experience. A non believer can understand many thing about our faith in regards to traditions, worship styles and so forth, but they can not understand the feeling a believer gets upon receiving Christ has one personal Savior. The virgin experience of salvation is one when the new believer rejoices at knowing Christ is within her heart upon asking, and the Savior and the angels of heaven rejoice over the new bride of the church that just received Christ. She is Hephzibah (delight in her) and her land is Beulah (Land that is married), a people with a husband/protector marked as Jerusalem by God.

If I could stress anything about this chapter it would be the righteousness of God shining forth in Jerusalem. Meaning faith coming alive ina place of desolation, a planting and growth making it a new land. A New Jerusalem, a new beginning and new covering and a new earth. If you ever lived in one place long enough you see things torn down and rebuilt upon, and so it is with foundation of faith, must sometimes be torn down, in order for God to rebuild upon. God would take the Gentile nation and build a new order of faith, that is still of old. The Old desolated and the new would be built by the God. A rebuilding of faith, no a begin of a virgin faith. A faith that begins without knowledge of God's blessings that is bestowed by faith. The adultery of a nation being so great that no one knows what true faith is anymore and so God must begin a new with a land of desolation. Israel was war torn, destroyed and ready to be rebuilt by the power of God. Israel would be sought out by God once more and a city not forsaken, the city of God which is Jerusalem. Jewish people would return home to Jerusalem.

A nation that rejoiced over Jerusalem reestablishment at the time of the return of Israel was a tribe of Gentiles, they even sent goods and tools to rebuild the temple and the land of Jerusalem. At the end of time the New Jerusalem would come down from heaven and the saints of God would rejoice as they rise up to meet Jerusalem coming down from heaven.

Christ bride will meet him in the sky. God's people that been redeemed at the time of Christ and saved after Christ will descend. We will see Christ with the old time prophets, and the new testament ministers of faith, along with people we may or may not ever heard of before, but they will be there too, because of their faith in Christ. God wants to build the New Jerusalem a place in heaven that will come down, and wants to build a place that will be on a new earth by his design and not ours.

Man can tear down and rebuild, but they are not the ones to rebuild or tear down the people of God. There evil arising in our land that no one can see, a land called to prosperity but it only bring destruction, for man thinks they can rebuild, but God must be the builder. The land must be built on the word of God and not the prosperity of wealth.

God wants to establish, and not allow Satan to build. Yet the people of God must declare it to build the things by God's design for prosperity of God to reign, not a prosperity of wealth but a prosperity of faith. Can you build on the prosperity of faith on the word of God. Beulah land is coming for us, not us going to Beulah land. There is difference, God is bring a beautiful city with His Son prepared for his people.

Dear Heavenly Father, as your saints long for your city, help us to wait to your calling, to be testimony of faith in your city. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: Revelation 21:1-8 KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
