It is easy to get big headed, or high minded in our world. To think that we understand many things only to find something you know little about in the very next moment. As I write on Isaiah 40 this weekend the one issue is clear is that Isaiah understood that no matter the landscape a path way had to be made for God for man to find him. As I watch a documentary on the life of Billy Graham and his extraordinary ministry to work with people from all social background including the media and politicians, poor and rich alike were influenced by this one evangelist around the world. He worked through racism, and other social injustice of his day to explain the love of God to preach Christ crucified and salvation for all mankind that would believe in Jesus. Jesus being the only way and the truth and light for all mankind. Billy Graham was a type of Jesus in his day and time in guards to making a pathway to Christ Jesus. To making people aware of God's love and salvation through Jesus, a way a bridge had been made to mankind. In the day of Christ John the baptist was the way maker for Jesus, as far as teaching repentance and baptism for repentance declaring the kingdom of God was at hand. Noah a preacher of righteousness, prepared the people, yet no one but eight souls believed that God's wrath was about to pour out on mankind.

Yet we wonder when i God's wrath going to be poured out so one can repent just before, the hour is unknown. We have more preparation for Coronavirus, storms and weather then we have for knowing the time in which God's wrath will be poured out on man. Preachers line up to stand to preach the Gospel of Jesus, the Gospel of love. Then God alllowed man to pour out their wrath on his Son. When it was over, He rose back up to live again. Man is is still angry at God over many things. When you believe in Jesus and decide to give your anger and hurt to God instead of seeking revenge, he pours his love into your heart in its place.

In this chapter it says God is our comforter. God had pour out on his people all the judgment he was going to do at the time Of Isaiah 40 was written. God had punished his people because of their sin. To understand sin is not just separation from God but it the way of evil. Israel had come to a place their life style was harmful to others. Is the Coronavirus only a remind of how filthy our sin is, even down to the sin of uncleanness, meaning living in filth and germs like a pig sty, worse then in a mud hole. Is our sin not caring for each other or our family. How many learned these past two months that you can get by with less and how many spent more to satisfy every desire and need of toilet paper, food, and gadgets for entertainment. How many use this time for spring cleaning, cleaning closets, mopping and making repairs that often get undone by tons of work outside the home. How many found internet jobs, and other things they never imagine was possible, because they had no time off to make a life change, or in desperate need of financial relief. God has a way of taking bad circumstances and turning them into good.

How about doctors and nurses who been on the front line since day one fighting something they can not see, only to loose a patient. This is a different trial, it will either make or break a doctor, nurse or other medical professionals down to where they are in need of help emotionally or it makes them want to fight that much harder because of perhaps that one patient they thought would not make it did. What the point. Medical teams knows exactly how hard it can be on the frontline every day, and they make their choice daily. Some will walk away to a different career and others will stay for the love of patients and the help they are able to give. It weeds the medical field out who thought about riches and freedom of hard days work from decent pay to do what you love and knowledge how to help loved ones Then there those that loved their job and could not cut it psychologically of no fault of their own, for they grieve with the loss of each patient.

It does not matter the job you are in, some jobs are easy and others are life threatening every moment of the day. Yet what you choose is based on your endurance, or will to go into danger to help another. No one think less of another that can not be the person in harms way, because at some point in your life perhaps you be in position to help someone in harms way and will not walk away. See that thing many people are taking many things from this current financial, medical and global pandemic. Everyone finding freedom in one way or another and others only chaos of not working.

What then can we say is all storms what we make of them or what we learn from them, or only about how we personally deal with them. Yet what is the comfort of God in these storms either brought by China release of virus and Korea being the first victim in 2017 to it expanding to other countries in rapid session. The olympics were in Seoul Korea. Or punishment from God. If you being punished by God there is no comfort in the storm of life, there is only torment and crushing blows of the Spirit that brings one to one's knees in repentance. Israel had to have a teacher to teach them about God and Isaiah the prophet and few others were called to preach in a difficult time and to preach hope of the coming Messiah, of how God was going to be with them and would heal their diseases and speak truth to them. When Christ came they rejected truth, hope and God's way of doing things, because of human comfort that had come from God. God would destory to restablish his comfort by His Spirit.

In my own life I experienced time of loneliness only draw closer to God, using that time to grow close to God because I had no alternative but to be in the financial situation I was in, and could not change my situation but to keep pressing forward. Sometimes we can not do all we want but we have to press forward. Can not press forward in life, without the comfort, strength of God working in one's life. Where others might of failed, God's strength provided reassurance of another day and a continual hope.

God's word is true, If grass be like Peopleand the grass fades Flowers are all the goodliness of the grass, and the Spirit of God blowth upon the grass. His Spirit moves upon the people of the earth, whether they know it is God or not. The goodliness of God's Spirit is the fruit of his Spirit in the lives of people for the fruit of evil God has no part in.

God only going to send a fire to destroy the evil of this world, not the goodliness of this world that are his. God's people need those that will minister desperately to be a witness of his love and hope. God's Spirit is not in need of teachers, but people will to be people of God's love and hope to the world so others may no the difference of filth of the flesh, and love of God. Life is short, but God's word remains true for eternity. If we hold to it we will know the hope of God through Christ Jesus.

If we are born of uncorruptible of the word of God then we abide forever with God. The word of God is truth and our hope is abiding for eternity with God. His wrath did not cause these death, error of science, the rising and falling of scientific world. It happens in all countries, no matter the perfection of any group to protect lives.

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to use bad situations for good and to bring hope to others. God's Spirit blows upon all living and may our hearts hear not only the breath of God, but to acknowledge and to know the breath and His Spirit and His Word so we comforted by His Spirit.
