(25) Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.
(26) O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

God remembers us in our low estate. God does not leave us on the earth to live alone without him. In recent years I have heard people say you only need the four Gospels. Only need to tell the story of Jesus. I believe in sharing the whole Bible. Israel felt favored by God, they knew they were His children. Yet the world is his children and those who obey him, love him. Being part of the kingdom of God had little to do with where you came from, though some have thought that, because the way scripture is written it focus on the one tribe of Israel and purify tribe. Only nation today beside perhaps Israel that is purified nation might be Korea, in the since of one race. Yet North Korea is run by a ďdictatorĒ according to the news. An atheist leader with no faith in God is how he is presented to the world. The world seems to care little about the faith of our leaders. In fact the only time it matters is when fundamental, and conservative religious groups speak out. Yet where is there faith. I am suppose to be talking about the Red sea journey by Israel, and I am talking about world leaders. Why is the history of God so important to people. It important to know Godís enduring mercy, grace and strength, despite oneís own convictions. God did not abandon us on earth, he remains, present in the lives of the believers and even non believers, from the harden heart to the highly favor of God like Mary. God did not abandon his people in the wilderness to fend for themselves, but everyday provided for their needs. Israel is a testimony to Godís mercy and grace. When you get to the four Gospels you see this same mercy and grace extended to even the gentile in the community, Jesus did not just come to bring light to Israel but to the Gentile nation as well. Yet the Old Testament always speaks of Israel in the early days of doing the will of God, they soon turned to their own ways of an evil heart. They to failed the Lord. They to were imperfect like the tribes around them.

God is still in the process of restoring his people to Him. Still in the process of turning the hearts of the sinner toward him to have faith in Son and His Son return. To have faith in God is to believe in God but willing to do the will of God. To follow after Christ. To follow Christ as Israel followed Moses, no I hope for better things for you. Israel was stubborn group of people who even with miracles did not immediately trust in God. It would take years for Israel to follow in obedience, but several thousand of years later they desired a king like the nations around them. God gave them a king like the nationís around them his name was Saul, and then gave them a king after his own heart name David. You can either have a king of the world like Saul or a king like David. Our own president reflect these two types of kings. Some taken by the world and some taken by Christ.

God granting the desires of our heart may not always be whatís best for us. The decision to serve God, is to desire the things of God. Yesterday I went to the store looking for nothing particular but a ice trays. Then I seen the perfect grouping of ice trays, measuring cups, bowls, and drain board. I need all four replacing. NO not a necessity, or an immediate need, but the price was too good. I been looking for a new drain board for some time and had not liked the price and needing new ice trays for awhile, but in truth they wait a little longer. The other two items luxury. The deal was to great to pass up. When we receive Christ as Savior and Lord, we get salvation and relationship with Christ, but the deal does not stop there. We get a king that is ruler of the universe, offers divine protection and protection upon the earth, until it our time to go to be in His kingdom. God protection and provision is like no other. It might not be what you want but it what you need. Kind of like that good sale, not all the items may be what you want, but you get what you need for the journey with Christ. We do not always receive all that God wants to give us.

No one wants war, persecution or to be in disfavor by God. The world wants to favor, love and receive compassion of God. Yet they are unwilling to do it Godís way. They want the ways of the devil and God. We all struggle with the ways of God verses the world. What that means is Godís mercy still applies in our life if we willing trust him as Lord and Savior. He knows we do not always follow the path He designed, that why there will be times of wilderness in our life, as well as the promise land for our life. Just do not follow the false prophets like Balaam who had to do the will of God despite his own will. God mercy endures because our will does not endure. One day our will, will die. One day we be either at home with a merciful God or a home in judgment of God. Where do you want your eternity. With a God of provision, love and grace or with God of judgment like against Pharaoh and Balaam.

God redemption is for all that will trust in his Son. Some people believe the word of God but do not know Christ or that He was the word that became flesh, so they must be taught. Going from Old to New Testament. God redeems his people. That is guarantee. Trust in Jesus today, and live with God for eternity.

Dear Heavenly Father help us to trust in you because of your mercy endureth forever from generation to generation. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

(8) He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.
(9) He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
