It is interesting to note that evil wants nothing to do with good doers except to corrupt them and goodness should never want anything to do with bad. God created light in the darkness. God created the light to rule by day and darkness to rule by night, but that night was not evil, that darkness was not evil. Two opposites ruling day and the night, a time of rest and time of activity. Light and darkness are yoke together for a purpose. The kind of darkness Paul is talking about is things that are evil or destructive to the church world and not the light and darkness of Sun and night.

What is destructive anything that has to do with the devil/Satan/Belial. Devil has no place in the church beyond the knowledge of his existence. He might even come to worship God but he sees himself as God. People think it is okay to read their horoscopes, it the easiest way to allow the devil into a group of God's people. Most look at it as a simple game, and nothing to be afraid of when reading. Gossip is a tool of Satan and tool of the enemies of God.If you know these tools don't have anything to do with these tools of the enemy.

Satan wants to destory God's kingdom and he can not destroy God kingdom. God's kingdom is everlasting, Satan kingdom is not. Anything not of God is part of the enemy. So identy of Satan is basically anything that has nothing to do with God's kingdom. To define God's kingdom is perhaps easy to identify as the worship of God, separating oneself from the things of the enemy, to chose the ways of God over the enemies ways. The things of love defined by God and not the enemy. The enemy will claim to love but is what way do they love? The Love for reward and notoriety.

Is an evil plot's part of God's kingdom the answer is no. Yet who does not love a good murder mystery, or scifiction novel with twist plot. It be much easy to read a good book about all things good, but life is full of evil and we have to deal with evil in our world and our churches. Best thing is to identify and get rid of the evil, not the people necessarily, because God wants to restore the world to his kingdom.

As I watched a woman leave a church, I knew that her problems were often greater then what she could do for herself. I would run into the woman encourage her not to give up on Jesus. Her faith stronger then what one would think after going through her situation. I found out after running into her again she found a church that was truly helping her in Christian love. She even had become involved in the church. What I noticed most of the beaten down lady was that her joy had been restored to her from the Lord. God had put her in a place of healing and no longer destruction. She did not loose her faith. Instead those who got to know her found a why to foster the good things about this person and to build her up.

The church world needs to be a place of fostering those good things of God so they outshine those imperfect traits in each other. Those human traits that destroy others has no room in the church world or in the lives of God's people. Sometimes we have to build with the attitude of what is positive and not let's destroy the negative. Let God destroy the negative out of people life through salvation and the continue work of grace. If we focus on the things of God the negative has no room in which to flourish. Give it an inch and evil will abound.

You want to see a bad kid grow find the good in him and nurture it and reward it. You want to see God's people flourish and not evil, help the person develop their gifts and talents in the Lord. That evil might be there for a time, but it can not remain, because love has a way of destroying the evil over time. The time of correction in the church is always time of the Holy Spirit to move in the heart of those needing correction. Let God remove evil from his church and only take a stand when God says we need to get rid of the issue that is destructive.

Idolatry is spoken against by Paul to the Corinthian church because of the idols in the city. The only way to destroy idolatry is to tell people, there is no room in God's house for idols. There is no room in God's house for idols or idol worship. Do not give inch to the worship of idols or the devil.

Our land is about freedom and it allows many religions within its borders, but what the church world can not do is follow suit. We must allow the light of God to shine bright through the doors of the church and the light of Christ to shine through the windows and out in the highways and byways in life. The church is to be a house of light and not darkness. The church physical lights by electricity should go out but it should not remain on, only the light of faith should be shining continually.

The other day I had to buy my husband a new tablet. The old one power port maybe fixed, but for how long, no one knows, because the original port is still within it and can not be replaced. Yet is seems to be working better. Well I told my husband we use it for back up and get him one that on sale at Walmart while we could afford it. All the way to Richlands to Walmart because our Walmart was out of stock on tablets. We found one with two power ports. No clue why two power ports, but the power plug grows very hot. Well I glanced through the tablet and book and remember reading something about the power source growing very hot. Well I went searching for the information with the plug became over heated. Found it and read it and wonder why did a company do this. But they made a switch to stop it from overheating. Most would never find it before burning up the plug or house I suspect. However there is a point to my madness this morning, we got to find the button that keeps the house lighted up but not burnt to the ground.

The church needs the power of God to light the church with power but not burn it to the ground physically. You want the church to remain solid you got to take the batteries of faith and plug them into God with the switch of the word of God and not the switch of destruction of the devil. The eye for eye seldom truly works even in the business world. In God's kingdom love and mercy never fails. How long will his people have to long suffer with a person maybe yet unknown, yet God is able to remove the person or destroy the person and also deliver a person from the grips of Satan.

As a believer we must decide who do we seek for the answer the one that holds all the answers and solutions or do we go beyond and seek another for the solution. The solution is always Jesus. The answer is God has the answer for us even today. Corinthian church was still learning and growing in faith, learning that to allow the enemy in would only cause destruction.

All is welcome in the church, the works of evil are not. That how a church grows is when the ways of the devil is turn out of the church and the light of Christ is allowed to flourish. At the altar of God all things are taken to him in prayer. The answer may be clear but give it to God and no other god but God. The door that opens then will be of God if you sought only him for the solution and if another door comes that looks to promising ask yourself is Satan deceiving or is this the door God wants you to have. Devil door can not allow the light of Christ in so it going to slam shut, God's door the light of Christ is always welcome.

Dear Heavenly Father we desire to knock always on your doors, seek only you and to ask only you, so that those doors of faith are open, your way is always present in our life and always remembering you have all the answers to those questions we ask. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
