Gog The Land Of Magog

Ezekiel 38:1-23 KJV
(1) And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
(2) Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
(3) And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
(4) And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
(5) Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
(6) Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
(7) Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
(8) After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.
(9) Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.
(10) Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
(11) And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
(12) To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
(13) Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?
(14) Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
(15) And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
(16) And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
(17) Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
(18) And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.
(19) For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
(20) So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
(21) And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.
(22) And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
(23) Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

The land of the North of Israel would come down to destroy Israel and God would defeat the North as in the days of Egypt. Some of the things one might ask has this period of time in Ezekiel come to pass. We must remember Rome burned down to the ground when it was destroyed. We must remember for a time Christianity ruled Rome. Yet we must also remember if it happened once it could and will probably happen again.

With this said if this time period came with the latter rain time period, it was along time in coming with the spread of the Gospel to Rome and through out the Holy Roman Empire. Yet Roman was an idolater nation. It was plagued with false gods that could not satisfy the human heart. This Christian God satisfied.

Some have felt that Gog was Russia of our day, yet seeing Russia fall in not so many years makes one ask will it have a revival of its own to come against the nations of the world. If there any truth to the rumors of Russia controlling our election then there some truth to the techno war being lost to the communist country. If so then the big brother fear that Trump claims he has experienced before his time in office has truth in it, dating before Trump term in office. Water Gate only one point of government no longer having freedom to think behind private walls. The thoughts of books like Animal Farm, 1984 and Fahrenheit 51 of big brother empire being mind controlling is realer then people want to think. The ideal of freedom no more. As Live Cops shows take away a person privacy to arrest or even family situations, it also shows who is really at fault in the issues of a crime.

It all sounds like crazy talk, and yet the reality of the situation is at our door. As every community is watched by camera’s even areas that once did not have camera’s. No one thinks about the camera world being a problem, but there no more privacy even in one’s backyard.

Sci-Fi or a reality you decide? Yet the truth of matter the devil will find ways to try and play God and change even what the camera says truly happened. Is that not what good editing does? The idea of anyone controlling our government through its own technology sounds insane with Microsoft leader being American and understanding the power of his technology.

The truth is this typing seems to sci-fi for me, so lets get back to Ezekiel this time of Gog would be after the Holy Spirit came upon the Apostles. God fights with His sword, his Word. His Word penetrates the heart of man and the heart of man bows to God’s word. The history of God’s word is not over nor has it fully begun because it will continue until God says no more. God’s mercy comes with his wielding his word across the land, sending warnings of the end is near, and those that understand that hear and believe will follow Him and receive his protection through His Son.

The battle against the enemy of God will exist till the end of time. Big brother has always existed in the since of those around us, the camera only tells the truth unless edited. People try and escape technology only to find technology has come to the backwoods. Our fear is not technology but how it is used to destroy lives instead of building lives up, to help people grow and mature and learn.

God is about building up His church, his people and not destroying them. The work of the Holy Spirit is to build not to tear down. Yet there is time of tearing down in the since of getting rid of evil and the ways of evil. The flames from God is about that type of destruction. Getting rid of those things that are not healthy to individuals or to the world. No one goes around getting rid of all the peanuts in the world because of one’s child allergy, yet caution is used by individual or group that knows of the condition. Yet when it comes to mass allergy then it something we would all fight to get rid of. It is global sin that has to be rid of not because it effects the world not just one.

God is with His people and yet when one sees a lion in a zoo one feels protected. See the lion in the plains and mountains of Africa and hope your gun is quicker then his stride toward you. God word is quickest form of weaponry a person of faith has, for God intercedes in one’s behalf. This fear of final wars and rumors of war has no place in God’s children lives. Military is a career choice unless in battle. You become a part of God’s army the day of salvation. Whether you know how to fight or not, God will teach you. The truth be the devil wants to destroy your life. God will destroy his one day. Our future is secure as a believer, our home in heaven with God through Christ Jesus.

Dear Heavenly Father has rumors of technology being corrupted plague our world, give your people peace that you have everything in control. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
