God preparing His people for what they are going to see because of war, because of destruction, because He was going to allow Babylon to rise up. My own nation feeling the pain of the last 30 years of storms, 911, and war in foreign land never imagined of seeing the destruction within its own borders from fire, tornadoes and hurricanes. Overseas experience devastation of earthquakes, war and famine, never fully realized unless one experience war torn and devastation areas. Unless you prepare your children in regards to war, and troublesome times of what they might see, they will never know about survival or remaining in the land of the living.

God speaks to Ezekiel telling him to tell the people of destruction and death that was coming. The mass graves they would see in every land they would go into. Yet would it be enough to prepare a people for destruction. News images that flood the safe zones across America caused many people to sit in horror of events. Images realized by the soldiers who been in foreign lands and helped in humanity aid as well as in times of storms, finally able to say look people this is what we see and hear about all the time, you all are protected for the most part.

People are in the land of the living, are still walking breathing as the uncircumcised/unbeliever in faith going to the pit/hell. People of faith are circumcised not always by the cut of human knife, but definitely circumcision of the heart. The circumcision of the heart is the knowledge of God and who He is. As prophesy from God filled Judah and Israel the knowledge of God filled the hearts of the people of faith. The people of God knew the truth of God’s word. It was a forecast of destruction but it was also a forecast of a remnant of people still in the land of the living.

Missionary like St Patrick forecasted the knowledge of the four Gospels and the message of a Triune God to the people of Ireland bring them hope in a land not of faith in God, found himself in a place where people did not always receive His message. Yet God’s word forecasted what was coming. The hope of better tomorrow or the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

God speaks of the land of the living being filled with death and people being buried in a pit in other words mass graves. With war comes destruction and mass graves. Storms can bring mass graves as well. Yet in polite society everyone has individual grave. The individual shrine to symbolize that a person once lived. The Four Gospels speak of life and hope of faith. A time of healing continual in the streets and land. It does not speak of never having sorrow or pain, but healing everywhere. God’s word is a healer, even when the prophesy is of destruction. It speaks of God’s people still surviving despite the enemies victory. God taking His people through horrors of war and destruction to bring them eventual back to the land of promise.

There is hope despite the horrors of images seen in the recent passed. The blinders need to come off and life needs to be seen. Yet to know when destruction comes God is there waiting for His people to seek Him and trust Him for He will carry them through. With more and more churches opting for mission groups to go and help in areas needing repair, it testifying of the work that God is able to do, especially where Government leaves off. As mission groups go to poor areas and mend a fence, or a home, they are making repairs to people’s lives that have felt torn by life’s wars. There is always clean up from war and destruction, but people are still in the land of living. If in the land of the living, it was not your time to go but your time to live and to learn to walk in humility of God’s grace. God grace in this chapter was God prepared his people for what they would be seeing, so they would not loose hope.

Dear Heavenly Father strengthen your people this hour no matter the road they dealing with or being repaired from. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
