God has a way of humbling his children. Paul man that had visions and was caught up to heaven, who confessed to have a thorn in his flesh from a messenger of Satan he could not remove. Yet he found out that God said his grace is sufficient for thee and strenght made perfect in weakness. Praise God in his illness.

We might not know who the man is that Paul meet, but he also had struggles as apostle in his day and time, some think it is Apostle John. Paul seen his own suffering in much the way of the man with visions. Paul knew first hand the suffering of faith, and the suffering of being beat and stoned for the Gospel. Yet he found God's grace sufficient. Now I do know about you, but I can only take so much suffering and aggravation before I snap, but my faith will always be intacted. To know God's grace is about his love for us despite the grossness of our sin. That love of God does not change in the believers life. God's love is not going to end when you make a mistake. Our struggle in our humanity to understand God's love for us, is beyond our full understanding. Yet when sin comes into a person's life after salvation, and God has not abandoned that person beyond perhaps not filling as full of God's Spirit, one then will and can understand the need of turning away from sin and getting refueled with God's Word and Spirit. Paul also talks about this problem in Romans 7. Yet it is easy to wonder why would a person sin if they are full of the grace of God and his Spirit. Our humanity is not removed from our bodies, we still human on earth. We are being transformed into the image of his Son, by learning to walk by the Spirit. Yet it is a constant struggle for man to fight temptation to not follow their own desire to walk by the Spirit of God in faith.

If we accept our own humanity as it is and say I fall short is that enough, God says it is, but God says he can transform us to keep us from sinning. He can make us into a new creation, a vessel of honor and not dishonor to his name. We can glorify God through our obedience to him, as we learn to walk in the light of his love. So when we fail it is a sin. When we fail we have a loving heavenly Father, who see us as we are with the covering of Christ blood for our sins. His blood being a covering for our sins, so we can stand in God's presence as a child of God. However we must be saved to have that protection and his love never ending in our life. Satan is going to find out what eternity without God is and the suffering to go along with it. Eternal lake of fire is not where anyone wants to be.

Dear Heavenly Father, when we fail you still love us, you humble us by your love for us, and you keep us humble because of our failings in our life, knowing your grace is still there. In Jesus precious name, Amen.
