God So Loved The World
06/07/2021

Daily Devotions:
by Christina Farris

John 3:16 KJV
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

God so loved what, the world? He did not love the wrong thing in the world or the corruption of the world, but he loved the people of the world that he continued to send hope to the world through prophets, scribes, preachers, priest, Sadducees, and so forth. Then He sends his only begotten Son to the world he loved. The people of the world he loved, and maybe especially those people that obeyed him not knowing him, but also to the wicked. See he visited not just the tribe called the Jewish people he was born to but also the Gentile people, Greeks and even Romans. It matter not their station in life Jesus spoke to them, and ignore none that came to him for help. Whoseover beleived on Jesus would be saved. To the wicked and those that knew him not he told if you believe you will be saved. He told his own the same, that you need to believe. That was the new covenant to believe that God and his Son existed. Simple right, then try to tell atheist this and they laugh you out of the ball park. However we man can understand even through science that a superior being existed in the creation of the world it simple to know that it is possible he sent his Son that no one would have to perish that believed.

Satan outcome was under the old covenant not the New covenant, his contract with God already sign and one day will be delivered. Man's contract of salvation is written for the world to see in the Bible, that belief is righteousness, and faith is essential to salvation. Believing in his Son Jesus in the flesh and/word, depending if you Old or New Testament believer. Now when you believe not that Jesus came in the flesh then you not saved. God's love was so great that he did not say might, but said should not perish but have everlasting life. That our hope and faith in Jesus and God all right there in one key verse of scripture.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your son Jesus that we may believe and be saved. Knowing you still love us despite our mistakes. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Continual Scripture Study: 1 John 4:1-10 KJV
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
